I’m a 41-year old male. I heard a folk song tonight about Singleness late-in-life that said...

“We may not have a choice, but we still have a voice, the invisible woman is here.”

I’ve definitely felt invisible to the opposite s*x before, and I know I’m not alone. I think it’s important that we find our voice of expression and find away to put those feelings out into existence, even if it’s just raw prayer to God. I hope this encourages or inspires you in some way. If you’d like to here the whole song, I’ll include the link below.

VOLUNTEER LEADERS NEEDED!

Have you ever felt called to Singles Ministry?

Would you like to make the most of your season of singleness?

Would you like to use your talents and gifts to help your peers?

Most of us know how difficult it is to make friends and meet new people after we graduate college. Some friends get married, others move away, and some we just lose touch with. We’re assembling a group of extraordinary people to help create and manage a new Christian Singles Ministry group based out of the Carlisle and Harrisburg areas. It would be a singles group for adults ages 21-45, and would be a sibling group of Crossfire Interchurch Singles Ministry.

Responsibilities include:
-Attending a monthly meeting

-Use your unique talents to generate fun, community-building events, and generate funding for the ministry.

-Attend created events

-Build community, make friends, and have fun!

Requirements:

-Must be at least 21 years old.

-Must be a Christian (In this context, it means that 1. You believe in Jesus Christ as Son of God. 2. You believe the Bible as the Word of God.)

-Must be Single (ANY RELATIONSHIP STATUS OTHER THAN MARRIED IS CONSIDERED SINGLE.)
