Join us on Sunday, August 30 for our Back to School "Pop Up" Sunday! We will have a special family service and time of celebration for our kids, youth, and teachers as they prepare to go back to school. We are asking for our children and youth and teachers to bring their backpacks if you would like, as we will have a time in each service to give a prayer of blessing over our children, teachers and school staff for this upcoming school year!

If your child is moving up to Kindergarten or 6th grade, we’d love to celebrate this milestone with them during service!

Which grade they’re moving into

Which service you’ll be attending that day

After this special Sunday:

6th graders can officially join the main church service on Sundays (and the Bridge) and attend Youth Group.

Kindergarteners can officially step into Journey Kids!

Pop into the Gathering Place after each service for a treat! 🙂

God is faithful, and He always provides! We had the sweetest Sunday morning filled with lots of laughter, learning, and reminders of just how good God is. So thankful for these moments together!

We’re thinking about Sunday morning and what Joy we experienced and Journey Kids!

This past Sunday, we learned about how God always listens to us will we pray, and how we can pray for our families! Our older kids, created some prayers that will remain on our window for this month!

We had an absolute blast at our Family Fun Day at Lake Tobias! So many awesome animals, lots of laughs, and some really great time together. We’re so thankful for the chance to get outside, explore, and enjoy a fun day with our Journey families!

We've got one more summer fun event for the family!

Family Fun Day at Lake Tobias!

Join us for an afternoon of adventure, animals, and time together at Lake Tobias Wildlife Park!

The day is yours to enjoy! Explore the park at your own pace, spend time with friends, or venture out on your own. Our team will arrive around 2:00 PM after church, and anyone who would like to join us is welcome to meet up for the 4:00 PM Safari Tour. (Your admission includes a safari ride, so you're welcome to take it at another time if you prefer.)
The Journey has reserved Pavilion C for the afternoon, giving everyone a place to gather, rest, and enjoy lunch, snacks, or simply take a break. If you'd like to stay a little longer, we'll have an informal dinner together around 5:15 PM before heading home.

Additional Details
-Children 2 years old and under are free.
-Lake Tobias is about a 40-minute drive from The Journey. We encourage families to carpool if they're able, and we'll also have a Journey van with 10 available seats for anyone who would like to ride together.
-Registration is required for all attendees.
-Admission tickets, transportation details, and additional event information will be sent to everyone who registers.

Just like in games, family life can have its own ups and downs, whether it's with our given or chosen families. In this 4-week series, kids will explore how Abraham's family navigated challenges and blessings while learning how we can care for our families, serve them well, and remember that we're all part of God's family. As they do, kids will learn that we can believe God's promises, we can pray for our families, we can trust God to provide, and we're all welcome in God's family
