South Side Elementary’s May Fair is coming up on May 1st, and we have the opportunity to serve again this year by running the carnival games for the kids and families who attend.

This is one of those simple but meaningful ways we get to show up for our community. For a lot of kids, these events become core memories. For parents, it feels good to know people care enough to give their time and energy to create something fun for their family.

We would love to bring a huge team that is full of energy, kindness, and joy. If you can smile, encourage kids, cheer people on, and help run a game station, you can do this.

Today is Palm Sunday and it’s also Next Gen Sunday!

Our elementary and middle school students will be joining us in the worship service as we celebrate Jesus together.

As we remember the crowds shouting “Hosanna,” let’s invite the next generation into that same celebration.

We get to worship alongside the next generation today. What a gift to see God working through every generation in our church.

Looking for a place to serve at SVC?

Our Easter Egg Hunt is one of the biggest outreach events we host all year, and it truly takes all of us. Hundreds of families from our community come out to enjoy the day, and it is an incredible opportunity to show them the love of Jesus in simple, practical ways.

This is also a great way to get connected. Serving together is one of the fastest ways to meet people and build relationships in our church family.

POSTPONED!

Because of the potential weather this Sunday, we are postponing the SV Kids Café.

So much preparation goes into this fundraiser, and we want to make sure nothing is wasted and that our kids have the best opportunity to serve well and confidently.

A new date is coming soon. Thank you for supporting our Elementary WinterBlast campers.

Join us on Sunday morning, February 22, 2026, in the Cafe. SV Kids will raise money for their Winter Retreat at Camp Orchard Hill. We will serve a selection of Specialty Coffee Drinks, Boba Tea, and baked goods.

Due to snow, the 9:00 AM worship service is canceled for January 18th. We will reevaluate conditions for the 10:30 AM service and keep everyone informed. A decision will be made by 8:30 AM.

Kids Club is back tonight for our preschool and elementary kids!

All women ages 18 and over are invited to a Ladies Paint Night on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 6:30 PM.

Join us for a relaxed evening of creativity, meaningful conversation, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Canvas painting instruction will be provided by Glenda Payne, making this a fun and accessible experience for all skill levels.

This is a free event, but registration is required to ensure adequate supplies.
