FATHERLESS HOME
This piece is NOT about a home where the Father is missing because of DEATH. It’s about a home where the father was chased out by the mother because of her desire to be independent or don’t want to live under the tutelage of the husband.
The Bible says “Wives submit yourselves unto your husbands” Colossians 3:18
“The husband is the head of the wife “
Ephesians 5:23

A fatherless home is the most dangerous place to grow up. Any child that grows where there’s no father figure may be delinquent and lack etiquette.
Check out for homeless children on the streets of your cities, 70% of them are from fatherless homes.
In addition, go to the prisons and listen to stories of the inmates, majority are from fatherless homes. Rapists, jobless youths, drug barons, school dropouts, criminals, political tugs etc All these easy virtues are products of fatherless homes.

A father is the first man a son wants to learn to become. He’s the man a daughter wants to trust and confides in. Fatherless som will go on the streets to look for area father and area father charges crazy price which the son might pay for the rest of his life.
A fatherless daughter looks for a husband that could fill the vacuum of her missing father. She might be lucky to get or otherwise.

Kudos to the widows in our society who stands in gap for their deceased husbands so the children may not really feel his absence.
An African Proverb says…”A widow is the only woman who knows where her husband slept last night”

NOTE:
Only a father can stay awake till 2am and wake up by 5am to go and struggle in order to keep the family intact.
He will be in serious debt but still put up a fake smile so the wife and the children might assume everything is alright.

PRAYER:
Lord, don’t allow Satan to destabilize my family

SECOND HALF VICTORY
We have spent the first six months of the year and we’re into the second half. Majority of us toiled and labored in the first half without having something significant to show for it. However, it’s not yet over until it’s over. Life could be likened to a soccer game that has two 45 minutes duration which is equals to 90 minutes of play. The opponent might put goals into your net but never relent until the final whistle. Because he who laugh last, laugh the best.

Nigerian Dream Team meet with two Southern American giant soccer nations, Brazil and Argentina at the Atlanta Olympics of 1996. These teams scored against the Dream Team of Nigeria in the first half, but with the Golden goal rule, Nigeria won and became the first African nation to win Gold medals at the Olympic. The Bible says…In a race, all runners run but only one receives the prize. 1st Corinthians 9:24

You may have failed in your endeavors in the last six months of the year, this does not make you a failure, it is when you relent and quit trying that you’ll become a complete failure. The spider needs to jump from one branch of the tree to the other several times in order to connect and join his webs together, afterwards, it will become a beautiful spider web to behold.

The numbers of shoots at goal post doesn’t count but the one that goes into the net. Just switch your mentality from “I can’t do it, I am poor and helpless” To I can do it, I can make it , and watch how your life will transform for better in the last LAP of this year. The clearer you’re in your vision of what you want to achieve, the brighter the spotlight will be to navigate you into an enviable success and breakthrough.

NOTE:
As a player in the journey of life, never mind those who don’t clap when you dribble your opponent or the indifference of the referee or the linesman when an opponent hauls you down. Just focus and target the goal post for goal scoring because the shouting side is the winning side.

PRAYER:
In this last LAP of the year, God will crown all my endeavors with success…AMEN!

LIFE IS TOO SHORT
When I was a teenager, a woman died @ the age of 60 years, then I was just 10 years old. I began to wonder how long a 60 years old person had lived. But few years ago, when i clocked that 60 years, I imagined how short it was & how I got there.

You may never realize that you’re just a STEP CLOSER to your grave until your contemporaries begin to exit one after the other. A corroboration of the saying…”LIFE IS TOO SHORT”
Teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90vs12
The oldest person that ever lived was Methuselah. He lived 969 years. Genesis 5vs27 He eventually died because ONE DAY before God is a thousand years & thousand years is just ONE DAY. 2Peter 3vs8

The slogan…LIFE BEGINS @ 40 is a warning for you to get prepared for your old age & your final exit
When you were a teenager, you p*e in bed, when you grow old, you will still p*e in bed. You used Walker when you were a toddler, you will come back to it when you grow old.
You talked incoherently when you were a baby, you may need sp*ech therapy @ your old age.
Remember that your hands will become feeble & shaking. Your eyes will go dim. Your fresh & smooth skin will become wrinkled, so will your good dentition will be gone.

Remember, your creator in the days of thy youth while the evil days come not. Ecclesiastes 12vs1

NOTE:
In every day, there are 1,440 minutes, that means we have 1,440 daily opportunities to make a positive impacts. Everyday may not be good but there’s something good in everyday.

PRAYER
Teach us to number our days Lord so we may get a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12

CURSE GOD AND DIE
Sometimes in life, we go through despite being righteous and helpful to others. Regardless of our religious uprightness, calamity and epidemic could still nock @ our doors.

At this point in time, some Pharisees in christiaindom will begin to judge erroneously, they may say it’s because you have sinned. Some might even accuse you of spiritual bankruptcy, apostasy and shallow religiousity. Concluding that you cannot be in conformity with God and be passing through calamity.

The biblical Job was an example of a righteous man who went through a spiritual remolding. One day, he lost all his wealth, all his children died one day. As if that was not enough, he fell into a terrible sickness.
His friends came from far and near and told him it was the consequence of his sins against God.

You know, when people don’t know what’s going on in your life, they SPECULATE. When they think they know, they FABRICATE, and when they do know, they HATE.
The last straw that broke the camels back was his wife who asked him to CURSE GOD & DIE. Job 2vs9-10
Though, Job had no answer or clue to the reason why the calamities befell him, but he held on unto God.
Many times, generous people passes through hardships, they lose their jobs, properties, their loved ones die, face reproach and rejection. It could really be a time of perplexity, commotion and confusion.
Remember Jesus himself, at a point, cried out…”Father, why has thou forsaken me” Mark 15vs 34
Christiain journey is not for the toddlers, neither it’s for the spiritual indolents. No one lays his hands on a plow and looks back that’s fit for the kingdom of God. Luke 9vs62
Regardless of your afflictions, hold on to your God with equanimity, sobriety and with tenacity of purpose. Whoever believes in him , shall never be confounded. Romans 10vs11

NOTE:
There’s difference between the SCHOOL & LIFE
In SCHOOL, you will be taught a LESSON & given a TEST.
But in LIFE, you will be given a TEST that will TEACH you a LESSON

PRAYER:
In Jesus name, I will not partake in the evil of the day because days are evil.

ABRAHAMIC BLESSINGS
Curses could impact a man’s life in many ways. The person being cursed, his generations, even the person that pronounced the curse could partake in the effects of the curse too. The bible says “Bless those who persecute you. Bless, don’t curse” Rome 12:14

The consequence of a curse goes beyond imagination. God said to Abraham. “ Whoever curse you shall be cursed and whoever bless you shall be blessed. And in thee, all the nations of the earth shall be blessed”
Genesis 12:3
Abraham gathered his sons to bless them before he dies. He gave gifts to his sons from other women but to Isaac, he laid his hands to pronounce blessings.
Isaac virtually left with nothing because his blessing was not physical like others.

The similar blessing which Abraham bestowed on Isaac was what Isaac wanted to give to Isaw but Jacob snatched it by tricking their father. Genesis 27:29
Isaw should not be blamed because prophecy was against him right from the womb. Genesis 25:23
He went into the bush to search for what Jacob got for free in their backyard. Genesis 27:8
However, Jacob who got the blessing fled into exile with empty hands while Isaw inherited everything.
If not for the intervention of an angel who encountered him (Jacob) to restore his blessings. For he said…” I will not let you go until you bless me” Genesis 32:26 And he came back from his sojourns after 20 years with multitudes. Genesis 32:10

NOTE:
Praying and singing Abraham’s blessings are MINE does not mean you will get the blessings on a platter of gold.
Isaac was blessed by Abraham but he faced significant challenges afterwards. Genesis 28:15-22
Jacob was also blessed by Isaac, he still needed to wrestle with an angel in order to ameliorate his destiny from grass to grace.

PRAYER:
Stand by me in all my struggles and let success crown my efforts.

A VIRTUOUS WOMAN
God completed the creation of everything including a man and he remembered ONE MORE left.
He made Eve from the rib of Adam. Gen 2vs21

Though, Satan made them fall. Since then, God did not create woman for man again, man needs to go and find ONE by direction. He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord. Proverbs 22vs18

When a man marries, his wife becomes his NEW MOTHER as well as the MOTHER of his children.
To make a good wife, you must not think of wining all arguments with your man because your marital home is not a court room.
A good wife must not use s*x as weapon in the home. Some wives put barriers on themselves by going to bed in jeans to deny their men. Forgetting the saying of the Bible that husband and wife must come together so that Satan will not tempt them. 1st Corinthians 7vs5

A wife should not use Western Civilization to bring her husband down in the name of women’s right.
A wife that concludes to deliberately become single mother because of child support or to get sympathy from the government for benefits is messing up her future and the futures of her children.

NOTE:
If you can’t forgive, don’t marry.
Marriage is a ministry of offense
You must be a permanent secretary in forgiveness department with PHD in understanding. MSC in loving and a BSC in tolerance

PRAYER:
*Lord, I have suffered FOR my children, don’t let me suffer FROM my children.
*Father, untimely death will not deprive me from enjoying the fruits of my labor
