Wolfa Coven, or Coven of the Wolfa, is located in South-Central Pennsylvania, practicing in the Horsa Tradition and also in the Sacred Pentagraph Tradition. The later was started by Charmaine Dey (June Day), Tarostar (Rollin ‘Rod’ Bennein) and Sybil Leek.

Our line within the Horsa Tradition was established in Pennsylvania by our late elders under the guidance of Sybil Leek in the 1960s and now practiced in various parts of the world.

Sacred Pentagraph, or the Ancient Order of Bell, Book & Candle, got its start in Houston, Texas and later in Las Vegas, Nevada by Charmaine Dey & Tarostar under the guidance of Sybil Leek.

We also include teachings in the tradition taught by the last student of Christine Jones who resides in Portland, Oregon.

We welcome new discoveries and maintain the old ones.

We seek a harmonious relationship with ourselves, with others and all things. The simple tenets of the religion and the seasonal rituals are hallmarks we are deeply fond of in our tradition.

The archangel Barachiel is a dear archangel of blessings a few of us find dear. The statues of him are depicted holding loaves of bread and is believed by some to assist with everyday little miracles of the home and family. I like to keep a statue of him at the hearth where family and friends gather or in the kitchen where I can pray for his intercession.

Rest in Peace Ariana, I was first introduced to the music you made with Kiva and also Amikaeyla, at the May Day Fairie Feativals when they were first held in Glen Rock, PA. (Now in Maryland) also, enjoyed your music later on at FreeSpirit.

I never knew you personally but I have loved Kiva’s music and it has brought me great joy over the years listening to the cds - especially now that we’ve entered the time of Spring and all the way through May which is my favorite time to listen. Even though I never knew you personally, the music you made and the rest of Kiva means a lot and has uplifted me over the years.

I hope there is comfort, in time, to those that did know you personally as family and friends. People like me who only knew you through your voice have been touched by it and i will still continue to be touched by the music every time I put in one of the cds or tapes.

Thank you for bringing much joy to my life over the years with your voice and words. Blessed Be!

Tomorrow evening we’ll discuss a little bit on the Seeker’s group about the “Pagan Playlets” that Tarostar wrote, such as the “Lupercalia” and even the “Hecate Court of Dreams”.

The Lupercalia Playlet was an alternative ritual in The Sacred Pentagraph Tradition that could be performed following the Candlemas Sabbat.
