The Lord blessed us with a wonderful lady for many years- 100 yrs, 3 months, 1 1/2 week. But life is only beginning for her!!

Sunday evening, Nov. 24 at 6:00 p.m. we will host a Community Thanksgiving Service at our church. There will be a community choir and the message will be given by Rev. David Williams, Pastor of Trenton Street Baptist Church. Come join us in giving thanks to God for our many blessings!

I am copying this prayer from a communication/post form Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville to its families; It can help all of us as we pray for The Covenant School and those families affected by this tragedy.
“God, we ask you not to dry our tears, but to increase them. Let us feel what we are afraid to feel today. Let us face the worst of the world with hearts that are deeply engaged In love, in hope, in pain. Let us be not only the hands and feet of Jesus today, but the love and compassion and merciful tears of a Savior who cried for his friends when death came to Lazarus. Lord, hear our prayer. For the children, God. For their parents. For their friends. Be near. In the ways only you can.”
