From the food bank to the food pantry—Journey Connect Groups followed through ❤️

Feeding the hungry is something Jesus taught us to do, and it was amazing to see that mission come full circle. On May 12, our Outpouring: Unleashed with Holy Spirit Power Connect Group served at the food bank in Montgomery, sorting and boxing food. Later that same week, on May 16, our Draw the Circle: 40 Day Prayer Connect Group helped complete the cycle by distributing food to the community through the food pantry in Newburgh.

What a powerful testimony of so many people working together to care for their neighbors and make sure food reaches those who need it most. As Jesus said, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.”

We traded our cameras for forks and came together to break bread! We love capturing God’s beauty through pictures, but tonight was all about capturing community through fellowship and a great dinner. Beautiful moments happen both behind the camera and around the dinner table. We are so grateful for the laughs, the deep conversations, and the food that brought us closer together tonight.
