Saturday 9/5: "“You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? Therefore I am sending you prophets and sages and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify." (Matthew 23:29-36) Jesus sounds pretty angry here.

Thursday 9/3: "We have been speaking in the sight of God as those in Christ; and everything we do, dear friends, is for your strengthening. For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you as I want you to be." (2 Corinthians 12:11-21) If Paul came to our land today, would he find us as he wants us to be?

Wednesday 9/2: "Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come." (Matthew 12:22-32) Unforgiveable sins? What do you think of this?

Tuesday 9/1: "I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name." (Revelation 3:7-13) Have you kept his Word when you had little strength?

Monday 8/31: " I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God." (Revelation 3:1-6) Are any of your deeds unfinished?

Saturday 8/29: "When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.”" (Matthew 8:14-17) Matthew points out a LOT of fulfilled prophecies. More than all the other gospels put together.

Friday 8/28: "The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing." (2 Thessalonians 2:7-12)
