We believe the most important thing is for every person to have a personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. We believe in one God, the creator of the universe, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ, God’s Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sin
s, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to heaven where He reigns as the only mediator between God and mankind. We believe that mankind was created in the image of God, but because of rebellion and sin is now separated from God. However, all who trust in Jesus for forgiveness of sins can enter into a right and personal relationship with God. We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts, persuades, teaches, guides, and empowers Christians to live a life that pleases God and benefits others. We believe that "being Christian" involves more than just believing the right things. Being Christian is obeying God’s will in every arena of life. That is, a Christian's attitudes, actions, values, and standards should continually be transformed and aligned to the will of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testament, is the inspired Word of God, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of all people, and the final authority for Christians. Everyone who trusts in Jesus Christ and follows Him are members of God’s Church, regardless of denominational affiliation. However, anyone who does not trust in and follow after Jesus Christ is not a member of God’s Church, even if their name is on a denomination’s membership roll. We believe that God wants Christians to promote unity and harmony among the denominations. We believe that Jesus will return personally to judge everyone and to establish a new heaven and new earth. Everyone who trusts in Christ will enjoy eternity with Him, but those who reject Christ will be separated from Him for eternity.
