Sunday school starts at 10:00 am & worship service starts at 11:00 am. Also we have Sunday night service the 1st and 3rd Sunday night. We also have Wednesday night youth bible classes. Yes, parents you come on to , because we also have adult classes. We try to make it fun to learn about Jesus, so come on out!!!

David Hamilton Estes formerly of Canmer passed away at the Signature Health Care Horse Cave Ky Thursday, April 16.

David was the son of the late Elmer Estes Jr & Renetta Hamilton Estes. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Elmer Estes & Cassie Hogan Estes; and his maternal grandparents Ned & Pauline McCubbin Hamilton.

He was a 1970 graduate of Caverna High School & attended Belmont College in Nashville TN on a baseball scholarship. David was skilled & known for his left-handed pitching. He also attended Western Kentucky University. David was one of the first drivers hired for the Hart County Ambulance Service in 1977. He retired from R R Donnellys after 25+ years of service. David was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Uno.

David was the proud father of two surviving sons Chris (Lindsay) Estes & Ben Estes. He has five grandchildren Griffin, Madelyn, Brody, Brayden and Grant. Three brothers Steve (Marla) Estes, Tim (Bonita) Estes, Shawn (Carla) Estes. Several nieces, nephews, cousins & a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at Sego Funeral Home on Monday, April 20th at 1pm CST. Visitation will be Sunday, April 19th from 2-8pm cst and will continue Monday from 11am-1pm cst. Bro. Ronald Riordan & Bro. Tim Estes will be officiating the service, with burial in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gideons International, these may be left at the funeral home.

I have a urgent prayer request please. My sister in law Brenda Turner is at the hospital. She is septic and has a large kidney stone that now they cannot remove due to the infection for 10 to 14 days. Please pray they get this infection under control and then remove the kidney stone.

Due to the icky parking lot, church service is cancelled for 2/1/2026. We do not want anyone to fall and get hurt. We hope to have service next Sunday, if weather permits.
