Please Pray for Family

Marilyn Morlane Brents, age 67, of Morehead, KY, formerly of Hart County passed Monday, July 4, 2022 at St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead, KY. She was a member of the Allen Seminary Baptist Church where she sang in the Mass Choir and worked on the Kitchen Commitee. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, a good listener and an avid UK fan.

She was the daughter of the late June Bradley and the late Alice Mundy Bradley.

She is preceded in death by three siblings, Stella Brown, Tommy Bradley and Jessie Bradley.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert Brents, Morehead, KY; two daughters, Raven Ford and her husband Kelly, Morehead, KY, Keisha Brents, Morehead, KY; two grandchildren, Haven and Kelbie Ford; four sisters, Linda Beachamp, Wanda Young, Kenna Mitchell, Angela Driver; one brother, Cliff Bradley.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. CT on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. CT on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Brooks Funeral Home with Rev. Stanford Dixon and Rev. Nathaniel Payton officiating. Burial will follow in the Allen Seminary Baptist Church Cemetery.
