Franklin Memorial Baptist Church Service Times: Sunday School - 10 AM, Worship - 11 AM, Sunday Night - 7 PM, Wednesday Night - 7 PM. V Franklin Memorial Baptist Church had a Biblical beginning.

The church started as a mission church of Chamblissburg Baptist in Chamblissburg, Virginia. Rev. John Riggs who was the pastor of Chamblissburg Baptist Church then, resigned to organize and become the first pastor of this new mission work. The church was organized on September 14, 1975 with 36 members joining the church. Through the years the church has experienced steady growth. Two building proj

ects were started and completed under John Riggs ministry. John served as the pastor for 20 years. John retired in January of 1995 and stayed on as an interim pastor until a new pastor could be found. On October 1, 1995, Rev. Jeff Richards became the pastor of the church. The church as continued to grow with several remodeling projects and the acquisition of additional land. The church presently supports 31 missionaries and or agencies around the world. Our goal is to serve Christ in our community and through a strong missionary outreach to the world. We the members of Franklin Memorial Baptist Church strive to serve the Lord through faith that was brought to us by our Lord Jesus Christ. We strive to fellowship with believers of like faith and practice while promoting fellowship in our church. By faith we point people to the future blessing that can be found through a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Sunday, May 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. we plan to have service in our church at Franklin Memorial Baptist Church. If you have survived your frequent trips to Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Food Lion, Work, etc... You will be Okay! Everything has been cleaned and sanitized for your arrival. We have had the church professional cleaned. Social distancing will be observed. In addition in case you think the church can not accommodate your presence the balcony will be open which can seat up to an additional 27 people. You should have nothing to fear about coming to church. I hope to see you this Sunday. I want you know that I am praying everyday by your name for your Spiritual, Physical, Economical health and your protection from this virus.

May 10 @ 11 am we plan to have a drive up service at Franklin Memorial Baptist Church. You are welcomed to attend a special drive-up Mother's Day service. Please come and honor you mother. Each mother in attendance will receive a special gift. The church will be open if you need to use the bathroom. Hope to see this Sunday! March 29 @ 11 am we plan to have a drive up service at Franklin Memorial Baptist Church. I know that some people are more susceptible to contracting this virus than others, but this will give you the opportunity to set safely in your car while the message of Jesus Christ is conveyed over a loud speaker in our parking lot. I will preach from the back of my truck. You are welcomed to attend. The church will be open if you need to use the bathroom. Hope to see this Sunday!
