St. John the Baptist VT

St. John the Baptist VT We are a welcoming Episcopal Church located in Hardwick, VT Sunday services every Sunday at 10AM - we would love to have you all are welcome St. (802) 472-5979

John the Baptist has a visiting program for those who are unable to attend services. In addition to the Reverend John Perry who can bring communion to those at home, there are three licensed Eucharistic Lay Visitors who can also take communion to those who request it. We go out in two’s to bring the Church into homes. If you’d like to know more about this program, contact the Reverend John Perry or Senior Warden Jerry Willard. You may leave a message on the Church phone to let us know your need.

This Sunday will be the 4th Sunday in Advent December 21st Please join us for greening up the Sanctuary. We intended to do it last Sunday, but few people showed up to help. Once again we will have an extra nice coffee hour to fuel our working together to begin the festivities. See you Sunday!

Advent greetings! This coming Sunday is Green Up day when we receive evergreen boughs that Steve Young gathers from his woods. We bind them together in garlands large and small to decorate our sanctuary. We bring a little bit of the wilderness into our worship. Please join us. Bring your garden gloves and clippers if you have them.It is a fun and festive Sunday, the third Sunday in Advent – joy! We will have coffee hour treats and plenty of fellowship.
