Saving Children on the Streets of Kenya - Mission Cooperative Weekend
Bud and Sue Ozar are lay missionaries who work with Father Francis Riwa in Kenya at the Children’s Village which is home and school for more than 1200 children Fr. Riwa rescued from the streets. Bud and Sue will be with us on September 5 & 6 to tell us about the miracle of the Children’s Village.

If you or someone you know is in need of baby diapers, Mercy in Motion will be distributing diapers this Thursday, Aug. 27 at 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Bartlett Rd. door.

Harbor Creek goes back to school tomorrow, while some of our friends started last week and others will start next week and beyond...wherever you may be and whenever you may start, please know that Our Lady of Mercy is praying for a safe and successful school year for all involved!

We are very thankful to our friend, Kim Edinger, for organizing the craft vendor portion of A Merry Mercy Christmas! This year, all crafters need to complete the registration form and submit the completed form and payment to Kim. Please see the registration form for more details. As a reminder, scammers will comment on these posts asking potential vendors to reach out to them. Though we do our best to block, report and delete these posts as soon as possible, I just want to remind everyone to be safe. This is, in fact, the ONLY WAY TO REGISTER as a craft vendor.

This is the 3rd year of A Merry Mercy Christmas and it continues to grow, so get your registration in now! We can't wait to see everyone at A Merry Mercy Christmas on Sunday, December 13th from 1-5 p.m.!

The Knights of Columbus are holding their special Silver Rose Mass tomorrow, Friday August 21st at 8:30 a.m. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the Patron saint of the unborn, she is a powerful advocate for those at risk of abortion and all involved in Pro Life. The Knights of Columbus Silver Rose is a symbol of that. All are welcome to attend with the Rosary following.

Back to school with a twist! Pray for our Seminarians this back to school season.

Seminarians across the country are returning to seminary, and many are beginning this journey for the very first time.

They are saying yes to God's call, leaving behind family, friends, careers, and the familiar to follow Him more closely. That kind of "yes" takes courage.

As this new year of formation begins, please keep them in your prayers. Pray for those who are filled with excitement. Pray for those who are feeling uncertain. Pray for those carrying homesickness, sacrifice, or fear. And pray that each seminarian continues to grow in holiness as he discerns God's will.

Your prayers matter more than you know.
