Today is a special Sunday. We will be blessed by the music of our Summer Choir, celebrate the sacrament of baptism, and have a time of gratitude for our beloved Youth Director, Sara Creutz, upon her last Sunday on staff.

FOOD OF THE MONTH| Healthy Snacks!

The food of the month for July is Healthy Snacks: pretzels, popcorn, crackers/cheese, granola bars, dried fruit and nut mixes! Please bring your donations to the food cart in the Narthex. At the end of the month, all donations will be taken to the local Harbor Springs Community Food Pantry. Thank you so much for your generous giving month after month! This is so appreciated and is such a service to our community.

We are so thrilled to have our new minister, Reverend Hanna Richards and her husband Nasir Richards officially welcomed into our church!

From the PNC:

On Sunday, July 5, members of the congregation voted to approve Rev. Hanna Richards to become First Presbyterian Church of Harbor Springs, next pastor. Reverend Hanna's start date is Monday, August 10. We are delighted Rev. Hanna Richards and her husband Nasir Richards (along with Peaches the rescue beagle) will become members of the FPCHS family. The Pastor Nominating Committee thanks the elders, deacons, staff and congregation for their support over these nineteen months of searching and discerning.

We almost forgot to mention— come early this week (9:50) to enjoy a special prelude featuring one selection by French composer, Déodat de Séverac, presented by our Bay View pianist, Yimeng Xu; followed by one selection by Italian composer, Giovanni Gabrieli, presented by our FPCHS Brass Ensemble. Please arrive early to hear this special musical treat!
