New Jerusalem Christian Church

New Jerusalem Christian Church VISION
We exist as a church to glorify God by transforming lives through the love of Christ, the Word of God and a culture of compassionate care.

New Jerusalem Christian Church is founded on Revelations 21:2-3, “And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband; and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling of God is with men.”

“The weapons of our warfare are not carnal —
but mighty through God
to the pulling down of strongholds.”
— 2 Corinthians 10:4 🔥

Strongholds are not always dramatic.

Sometimes a stronghold is just a lie
you have believed for so long
it feels like truth. 😔

A fear so familiar it feels like wisdom.
A shame so old it feels like identity.
A narrative written by someone else
that you have never challenged.

They can be pulled down. 🙌🏾

Not through willpower or positive thinking

Through weapons mighty through God —
prayer, the Word, the authority of Christ. ✨

The battlefield is your mind.
Fight accordingly. 🔥

The most powerful letter you will ever write
cannot be read on paper.
It is written on a life. 🔥
Paul didn’t produce credentials when they demanded them.
He pointed to people:

“Ye are our epistle —
written in our hearts —
known and read of all men.”
— 2 Corinthians 3:2

Your neighbors are reading you. 👀
Your coworkers are reading you. 👀
Your family is reading you. 👀
The question is not whether you are being read,
it is what your life is saying. 📖

Every promise God has ever made —
is still yes. 🔥
Not some promises.
Not the easy ones.
Not the convenient ones.
All of them. In Christ. YES. 👑

“For all the promises of God in him are yea,
and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.”
— 2 Corinthians 1:20

Before he met Christ on the Damascus road, Paul was the church’s most ferocious enemy.
The man who dragged believers to prison.
Who stood in approval at Stephen’s stoning.
And yet, he writes:
“By the grace of God I am what I am.” ✨
Not his pedigree. Not his intellect. Not his zeal.
But Grace.
That same grace extends to you, too!
The unearned, undeserved, pursuing love of a God
who refuses to let your past define your future. 💛
The same grace that reached Paul on his worst day,
is reaching for you today.
“Christ died for our sins…He was buried…He rose again.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

You are not an audience member.
You are not a spectator.
You are not optional.
You belong here. 🔥
Paul says the body is not one member — but many.
And every single part is necessary. 🙌🏾
But here’s where it gets personal
Some of us have been telling ourselves a lie.
“Because I’m not the hand — I’m not of the body.”
“Because I’m not the eye — I don’t really belong.”
“The body would be fine without me.” 😔
Paul calls that exactly what it is
A lie straight from the enemy. 🛑
Your difference is not your disqualification.
It is your contribution. ✨
“God hath set the members every one of them
in the body, as it hath pleased him.”
— 1 Corinthians 12:18
That means, you are not here by accident.
Not by coincidence. Not by default.
God placed you. Specifically. Intentionally.
Where it pleased Him. 👑
Your presence matters.
Your gift matters.
When you withhold it
the body suffers a lack it may not even be able to name.
You belong here. Show up. 🙏🏾

God didn’t stumble upon you in your circumstances.
He appointed you to this season. 🔥

This household. This workplace. This community.
Right here. Right now.

The assignment is already underneath your feet. 👣 Walk in it!

“As the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk.”
— 1 Corinthians 7:17

There are moments when silence is not peace.
It is negligence.
The church at Corinth had a serious sin problem in their midst m, and instead of addressing it, they were puffed up. Unbothered. Maybe even proud of how tolerant they were.
And Paul said, that is not grace. That is not love. That is not inclusion.
That is negligence. 😔
Because here’s the thing about leaven
It doesn’t stay where you put it.
It spreads.
It permeates.
It redefines the boundaries —
until the boundary disappears entirely.
It works through the whole lump whether you’re watching or not.
But Paul doesn’t stop at the warning. 🙌🏾
He anchors everything in something glorious —
“Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us.”
The Lamb has been slain.
The price has been paid.
We are already unleavened in Christ.
Now live like it. 🔥
Be what you already are.
You have been made new — walk in newness.
You have been set apart — live set apart.
Purge the leaven. Not in pride.
In the spirit of Passover
Remembering the Lamb. Honoring the sacrifice.
Living worthy of the freedom that cost Him everything. 🕊️

“Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?”
— 1 Corinthians 5:6
