You can support the Hanover Food Pantry by donating non-perishable food and household supplies, such as canned chicken broth, beef stew, and chili, canned pineapple and cranberry juice, condiments, crackers, chips, and juice boxes as well as kitchen trash bags and liquid dish soap, toilet tissue, tissues, and paper towels, deodorant, toothbrushes, and bar soap.

Drop-Off Box: Sylvester School Building, 495 Hanover Street (Use the right side entrance). For after-hours drop-offs, use the outside shed. Thanks for helping others however you are able!

Our Women's Moonlighters Group hosts an annual Mystery Lunch! We will be meeting at the Riley Hall parking lot to carpool at on Thursday, June 18, 1 pm. Janet Cook is planning our mystery location, please let her know if you plan to attend.

During the summer, we'll be working on projects for the in November. Bring along your new ideas! Tuesday, September 15, 2 pm will be the first meeting of the “new year “ for Moonlighters, when we will make our plans for the coming year and elect new officers. Save the date!

What a joyful day at First of ! ☀️

Following our service, families and friends gathered outdoors for an afternoon filled with laughter, connection, and community. From bouncy house adventures and lawn games to creating "Let Your Light Shine" quilt squares, there was something for everyone to enjoy. And, of course, strawberry shortcake and fresh lemonade made the perfect summer treat! 🍓🍋

Thank you to our volunteers, staff, program leaders, and everyone who joined us for this special celebration. Your presence helped make the day shine even brighter!😎

Heads up for all families! 👈 Tomorrow, Sunday, June 7, 547 Hanover Street, Hanover, we have a special worship service "Family Fun Sunday," starting at 9:30 am. Enjoy our weekly worship service as a regular attendee or come join us for the very first time. Everyone is invited, and we're looking forward to seeing you here!

Our Christian Education initiative is excited to bring "Vacation Bible Camp" to our church this summer! Our think tank is diving in with planning Bible lessons and fun crafts, practicing songs, creating group games that make waves of laughter, and finding ideas for yummy snacks.

Take the plunge and sign up to help in the vestry to help! You'll be invited to planning sessions during the month of July and we'll chart the course together as we prepare for our "Mission Deep Sea" theme. Change is just a natural part of life, but some people leave a truly massive pair of shoes to fill. This month, we are saying a bittersweet farewell to a total cornerstone of our daily lives—our amazing Office Administrator, Susan Vetterlein, as she officially steps into retirement.

If you have walked through our front doors, called the church office, had questions about our facilities, or read any of our church publications over the years, chances are Susan was the friendly face and steady hand helping you out.

As our Office Administrator, Susan didn't just manage the day-to-day logistics; she kept everything running like a well-oiled machine. She handled everything from schedules and supplies to the countless behind the-scenes details that keep our community connected. But even more than her incredible organization skills, it is Susan’s warmth, patience, and kindness that have truly defined her time with us.

She has a rare gift for making everyone feel completely welcome and supported, always bringing a calm, smiling focus to even the busiest days. While we are going to miss her terribly around the office, we are so excited for her next chapter. Retirement is a well-deserved reward for years of hard work, and we wish Susan endless days of relaxation, fun hobbies, and wonderful new adventures. 🙏
