Good Morning My Church Family. As I promised only a couple days ago, I have further news on the Farewell Gathering planned for Les and Kathy Palmer.
It has been decided that there will be no close proximity gathering of any kind in this celebration. Also to that end, there will be no present bought to give them in rememberance of our love for them. However, if you so chose to make a personal financial donation of any kind, please give said donation to Dawn Callahan so that it can be collected and given before they leave.
As for a gathering of sorts, and staying in compliance with social distancing practices, there will be an entire community DRIVE BY thru the Church parking lot on Saturday, August 15 from 10 to 11am, in their honor. Please plan accordingly to come by for a wave, toot of your horn, Yell Only glad tidings, screaming and of course tears, are also appreciated. I'm sure they already know, but let's show our abundant love for them in this way.
It's a very sad, but also happy occasion to celebrate for these two wonderful friends, so let's all socially gather to give them the very best and heart felt send off possible during these very trying and distant times.
I look forward to seeing y'all there.
