I urge you to pray for all people.
Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for Kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.
This is good and pleases God, our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved, and to understand the truth.
1 Timothy 2:1-4

God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted, and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with his mighty angels, in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God, and on those who refuse to obey the good news of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power.
2 Thessalonians 1:7-9
