When you think of the greatness of God and the works He has done, you must think back to creation. God made man--male and female--and told them to multiply and fill the earth. He has given you parents, whether they are still with you or gone to heaven, to care for you. Their love may fail; His never does. Give thanks to Him for those He has given you and the many other wondrous works He has done for you in your life!

When you are struggling with a problem or when you are caught in a situation that brings fear to you, what do you do? The proper response is often found in the Bible: seek the Lord. Call upon Him in prayer. Wait for His answer. Accept the answer He gives: yes, no, or not yet. He will always answer as is best for you at the right time: in His time.

How patient are you? Do you often take things in your own hands so they are completed in a timely manner? How hard it can be to wait for God's timing to fulfill His promise. Yet, when you do, you will find a completeness that is beyond comprehension. Wait for the Lord, take time and wait, and see what fulfillment He brings to your life!

Respect, especially of parents and grandparents, is something that seems to be challenged in today's society. God calls us to honor our father and mother. That does not mean we always agree with them, rather that they hold a special place in our life. And, it comes with the promise of long life in God's Promised Land. If you are able, ask their forgiveness for past wrongs and seek to honor them all your days!

How easy a slip of the tongue happens or what you said is misinterpreted. How often even the Word of God is misinterpreted or misapplied. Be careful with what you say. It is good to pray for God to edify your words and guard them from the wicked so they are not used against you and your faith. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord. Amen.

To redeem there is a price that needs to be paid. Think of the many times and ways God redeemed the Children of Israel, yet they continued to turn from Him. How often we turn from the God Who redeemed us. Yet, He has loved each one of us enough to redeem us at the great cost of His Only-Begotten Son's life. His love for you is enduring; His faithfulness to you never ends!
