Mike Tyson has a famous quote: "Everybody has a plan until they get hit. Then, like a rat, they stop in fear and freeze.”

This perfectly sums up what happened when the chief priests, scribes, and elders tried to trap Jesus with a question about authority.

Jesus responded by hitting back with a question of His own. Then these so-called experts in God's word totally froze in their hypocrisy and refused to answer.

All the while they could've known Who Jesus really was! The Son of God and Messiah!

If the Bible really is the word of God, it should be consistent.

At times there are passages that raise questions or difficulties. Mark's telling of Jesus healing a blind man raises one of those questions. Was Jesus going INTO Jericho or coming OUT OF Jericho in this story? Matthew and Mark seem to disagree...but is there more to the story than we realize?

The Bible harmonizes and we can be sure that it is consistent through and through.
