Post #1 (going to try and post 25 projects between now and Christmas). This is a 22" tall door hanger that is up for sale ($35). It makes me think of a Christmas book that we read at my Grandmothers house when I was growing up. This is cut out of 3/4" material.

Another graduation present idea would be a name cutout. Typically these are 10" tall (most of these are Allura font, but other fonts are available). $20 for a 5 letter name (Smith or Jones) and $4 for each additional letter, unfinished out of 1/2" mdf. Larger sizes and individual letters are also available (I can do up to 8' out of plywood).

So you need a last minute graduation present and can't decide? How about a large wall monogram cut out of 1/2" mdf. These are 30" tall (width varies depending on the letters). Last flag for now. OK, I Know I work with measurements every day and we even have a parable about counting the cost, but I just did not realize how big this flag was going to be until I started putting it together. It's 48" x 36" (and should have been a little longer according to specs - please don't hold that against me). I wanted the pledge to stand out a little more, and may go back and work on that after Zella's birthday. Really fun project.

Been on a bit of a flag kick here of late. This is a 36" x 24" Alabama state flag. Yes, I know that this may cause some people to call me a nerd. But had a great time researching them and building them. This one also cost a little blood with my sweat and a new t-shirt I was wearing that Kim has not let me hear the end of. Don't worry, no blood made it onto the flag. It's all on the shop floor and front porch.
