Aloha saints!
There is so much to be thankful for in this earthly and temporal life that we live! We are blessed with wonderful people whom we love, we have families, work and a nation where we can enjoy freedom from oppression and tyranny, to name a few! But because of these blessings which may be common to all, we often forget our Creator God and the Giver of good gifts for His children! We should be thankful for all these! Yes! Thank You Father! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Holy Spirit!
Yet, I believe that our good God deserves all our thanksgiving! Give Him thanks for all the work that He has done for us and for our good! His mighty and awesome works are to be acknowledged daily in our praise and worship!
Happy Thanksgiving to you all! May the God who is gracious and merciful bless you! May He draw you to Jesus!
Psalm 111
Great Are the LORD’s Works
111 Praise the LORD!
I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart,
in the company of the upright, in the congregation.
2 Great are the works of the LORD,
studied by all who delight in them.
3 Full of splendor and majesty is his work,
and his righteousness endures forever.
4 He has caused his wondrous works to be remembered;
the LORD is gracious and merciful.
5 He provides food for those who fear him;
he remembers his covenant forever.
6 He has shown his people the power of his works,
in giving them the inheritance of the nations.
7 The works of his hands are faithful and just;
all his precepts are trustworthy;
8 they are established forever and ever,
to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness.

Holy and awesome is his name!

Happy Father's Day to all of you dads in the faith! Keep up the good work! Choose the path of righteousness! Delight in His truth, always! His divine blessings on you all!

Psalm 1:1–6

The Two Ways
1 How happy is the man
who does not follow the advice of the wicked
or take the path of sinners
or join a group of mockers!
2 Instead, his delight is in the LORD’s instruction,
and he meditates on it day and night.
3 He is like a tree planted beside streams of water
that bears its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.

4 The wicked are not like this;
instead, they are like chaff that the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not survive the judgment,
and sinners will not be in the community of the righteous.

6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.

Praise God for His truth! Stand strong on His promises! And the "rainbow" is one among many others!

I love you, but I will never apologize for Biblical truth.

God made no mistake when He created you. Therefore, He will never deconstruct your gender.

He knew what He was doing when He handcrafted each of us in His very image.

And He created man for woman and woman, for man.

In a chaotic world filled with confusion, I’m not “taking back the rainbow” because it’s never been creations to take back.

The rainbow has, is, and always will remain God’s.

Men's meeting tonight!
Daniel chapter 3!
God will be done as He did in the lives of 3 Jewish men who chose to follow His law and not break His commandments by bowing down to a golden image, and idol! In the end, God saved them! Nebuchadnezzar believed that their God (Yahweh) delivered them from the fire!

This applies to us men today! We have the One, True God on the throne and Him only do we bow down to and serve! Anyone or anything that we worship consciously or unconsciously is an idol! Obedience brings His blessings! Let’s have our priorities right! God must be first in our lives! May God bless us all as we give praise and worship to Him only!

Exodus 20:3–5
3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.
5 “You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me,

Daniel 3:14–18
14 Nebuchadnezzar responded and said to them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the golden image that I have set up?
15 “Now if you are ready, at the moment you hear the sound of the horn, flute, lyre, trigon, psaltery and bagpipe and all kinds of music, to fall down and worship the image that I have made, very well. But if you do not worship, you will immediately be cast into the midst of a furnace of blazing fire; and what god is there who can deliver you out of my hands?”
16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter.
17 “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king.
18 “But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

We did it again! Well, a little bit more gray and a wrinkle here and there! More wise, I guess and it's really 👍 OK! I'll stand because there's one standing 🧍‍♀️ strong beside me! You Vicky!
Yes, we celebrate our love for each other once again! 27 years? That's awesome! You are the one and only! A gift from God indeed! So blessed to be with you! I praise God for His great mercy and love for us! May we both continue to grow being "one" in His wonderful covenant of marriage 💑! I love ❤️ you!

Aloha saints and friends!
Hope you are all doing well! We, here at House of Hope Fellowship continue to present and teach sound doctrine for you who visit us on Sundays! This week, we begin on the Letters of Paul to his young friend Timothy!

False teachings infiltrated the church back then and so it is now! Our responsibility today is to go back to His word as we allow the Spirit to lead! This is the only way to impact the culture!

May God give us courage, wisdom, and faith and love from a pure heart!
1 Timothy 1:1–11
Misleadings in Doctrine and Living

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus according to the commandment of God our Savior, and of Christ Jesus, who is our hope,
2 To Timothy, my true child in the faith: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 As I urged you upon my departure for Macedonia, remain on at Ephesus so that you may instruct certain men not to teach strange doctrines,
4 nor to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which give rise to mere speculation rather than furthering the administration of God which is by faith.
5 But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.
6 For some men, straying from these things, have turned aside to fruitless discussion,
7 wanting to be teachers of the Law, even though they do not understand either what they are saying or the matters about which they make confident assertions.
8 But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully,
9 realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers
10 and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching,
11 according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted.

Jesus, the Christ or Barabbas?
Matthew 27:1–32
Judas’s Remorse

1 Now when morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people conferred together against Jesus to put Him to death;
2 and they bound Him, and led Him away and delivered Him to Pilate the governor.
3 Then when Judas, who had betrayed Him, saw that He had been condemned, he felt remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
4 saying, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” But they said, “What is that to us? See to that yourself!”
5 And he threw the pieces of silver into the temple sanctuary and departed; and he went away and hanged himself.
6 The chief priests took the pieces of silver and said, “It is not lawful to put them into the temple treasury, since it is the price of blood.”
7 And they conferred together and with the money bought the Potter’s Field as a burial place for strangers.
8 For this reason that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day.
9 Then that which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: “AND THEY TOOK THE THIRTY PIECES OF SILVER, THE PRICE OF THE ONE WHOSE PRICE HAD BEEN SET by the sons of Israel;
10 AND THEY GAVE THEM FOR THE POTTER’S FIELD, AS THE LORD DIRECTED ME.”

Jesus before Pilate

11 Now Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor questioned Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” And Jesus said to him, “It is as you say.”
12 And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He did not answer.
13 Then Pilate *said to Him, “Do You not hear how many things they testify against You?”
14 And He did not answer him with regard to even a single charge, so the governor was quite amazed.
15 Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to release for the people any one prisoner whom they wanted.
16 At that time they were holding a notorious prisoner, called Barabbas.
17 So when the people gathered together, Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want me to release for you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?”
18 For he knew that because of envy they had handed Him over.
19 While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent him a message, saying, “Have nothing to do with that righteous Man; for last night I suffered greatly in a dream because of Him.”
20 But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas and to put Jesus to death.
21 But the governor said to them, “Which of the two do you want me to release for you?” And they said, “Barabbas.”
22 Pilate *said to them, “Then what shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” They all *said, “Crucify Him!”
23 And he said, “Why, what evil has He done?” But they kept shouting all the more, saying, “Crucify Him!”
24 When Pilate saw that he was accomplishing nothing, but rather that a riot was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of this Man’s blood; see to that yourselves.”
25 And all the people said, “His blood shall be on us and on our children!”
26 Then he released Barabbas for them; but after having Jesus scourged, he handed Him over to be crucified.

Jesus Is Mocked

27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole Roman cohort around Him.
28 They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him.
29 And after twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand; and they knelt down before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
30 They spat on Him, and took the reed and began to beat Him on the head.
31 After they had mocked Him, they took the scarlet robe off Him and put His own garments back on Him, and led Him away to crucify Him.
32 As they were coming out, they found a man of Cyrene named Simon, whom they pressed into service to bear His cross.

May God bless His word, and draw us all to Him!

Friends or acquaintances?

Life has brought many people into our own. Many are just blurry faces in our memories, but there are others that have been close to us, closer than a blood brother or brother. It is worth our while to hold on to such friends. They will be there in our times of need! Who's been there for you?

Proverbs 18:24
24 A man of too many friends comes to ruin,
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

It's been a while, but all is well with my soul. Much have happened at House of Hope Fellowship, Hana, and yet God has remained faithful to His church! May He continue to bless you and give you peace in these unsettling times!

1 I will sing of the lovingkindness of the LORD forever;
To all generations I will make known Your faithfulness with my mouth.
2 For I have said, “Lovingkindness will be built up forever;
In the heavens You will establish Your faithfulness.”
