As the wrap up at Hampton Lutheran School continues, some items may have more meaning and better be kept and treasured by individuals. Among these items are the school-year banners. I know many of them were gladly taken at Hearts for Jesus one year.
The years remaining are:
1999-2000; 2010-2011; 2012-2013; 2014-2015; 2016-2017; 2017-2018; 2019-2020; 2021-2022
Another banner shaped wall hanging has Isaiah 43:31 as the theme, and no years given.
And there is a quilt-sized and quilt weight item with no date, but squares that have been pieced. This needs laundering.
If you would like any of these items, please call St. Peter church office (402) 725-3234 and leave your name, contact information and which item(s) you would like. Please speak clearly as the voicemail sometimes garbles.
May these items continue to remind us of the blessings we have had through HLS, and be valued by being looked at and not merely stored away and forgotten in some dark closet at either Zion or St. Peter.

I'm sharing with their permission!

Larry Stettner had a complicated back surgery about 1 1/2 weeks ago and will continue to be in the hospital for a while. I know he'd appreciate receiving get well cards.

ORPHAN GRAIN TRAIN is constantly providing relief to victims of tornadoes, fires and other disasters across the U.S. and are currently in need of items for hygiene kits. Eunice LWML voted in December to provide Hygiene Kits for them and invites the congregation to contribute. Items needs are bath towels and wash cloths (preferably dark colors), bath size bar soap, toothbrushes, combs, ½” or ¾” bandaids, small packages of facial tissues and nail clippers. Items should be placed in the box provided by Feb. 1 for LWML members to pack and deliver to OGT in Grand Island. Thank you for any and all contributions.
