A new Monday. A new week. Another day God has given us.

“This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24 (NKJV)

Psalm 118 reminds us that every day comes from the hand of God. We may not know what this week will bring, but we can begin today with gratitude for His goodness and confidence in His faithfulness.

Whatever is on your schedule this Monday, take time to recognize the gift of today, rejoice in the Lord, and thank Him for another opportunity to walk with Him.

Have a blessed Monday and a great week ahead!

Many people run to the Bible looking for answers but forget something important: preparing their hearts to hear what God has said.

When our minds are consumed with our problems, our plans, our fears, and our desires, our attention is still centered on ourselves.

Before opening God’s Word, turn your heart toward the Lord. Remember who He is and what He has done. Quiet the distractions competing for your attention and come to Scripture ready to hear from Him.

How we approach God’s Word matters.

That Bible sitting on your shelf does nothing for you simply because you own it or admire it.

Even hearing the Bible preached and agreeing with what it says accomplishes little if we walk away unchanged.

God has spoken. His Word is meant to shape our decisions, priorities, relationships, attitudes, and actions.

Biblical Christianity isn’t something we practice only on Sunday. What God says should change the way we live on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday too.

Don’t just admire God’s Word. Live according to it.

New England has a wonderful heritage of camp meetings that served as spiritual refreshment for believers. The Newmarket meeting grew so large it was forced to move to Epping to hold all of its 18,000 people. Imagine that choir! In 2021, our church revived a weekend camp meeting, and voted to make th...

As a new week begins, there may be decisions to make, responsibilities to carry, and situations we simply cannot figure out on our own.

Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us that we don’t have to understand everything in order to trust God.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

Instead of beginning the week trying to see the entire road ahead, begin by trusting the Lord with the next step.

He knows the way. Acknowledge Him, depend upon His wisdom, and allow His Word to direct your path.

May the Lord guide you throughout the week ahead.
