Have you ever heard of the old adage, timing is everything?

This is actually a biblical principle.

Have you ever experienced a shift in your life — a new season — a time for some things to end or a time for a new beginning?

It is human nature to make an attempt to control our circumstances.

We spend many waking hours planning to make things happen, or to prevent certain things from happening.

However, there are seasons in our lives that are appointed by God.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts.

What are spiritual gifts?

How many are there?

Have some gifts ceased?

Let’s define spiritual gifts: a spiritual gift is any ability that is empowered by the Holy Spirit and used in any ministry of the church.

We must recognize that spiritual gifts are given to every believer:

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 - Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. 6 There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. 7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good

1 Peter 4:10-As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the multifaceted grace of God.

I ask that you Open your hearts and your Bibles as we go through this teaching on Gifts of the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts.

It is the Holy Spirit who brings each of the disciples into the teachings of Jesus.

True “Discipleship” is not a limited affair it is continuous and final fulfillment of our lives.
