A big THANK YOU to everyone who donated and contributed to this month's diaper drive for the Manchester Diaper Pantry!

It is always great to see the community come together to support others. Thank you to Tia and Shannon for stopping by today. We appreciate the work they do for families in our surrounding communities through the Manchester Diaper Pantry.

They recently established permanent office and storage space at the YWCA New Hampshire in Manchester and are now offering appointment-based pickups, giving working families a wider window to pick up supplies.

They are doing some great work!

A reflection of our past, a beacon for our future.

Francis Clara Folsom Cleveland — The
first lady of the United States from 1886 to 1889, and again from 1893 to 1897, as the wife of President Grover Cleveland — gifted Hampstead Congregational Church with this gorgeous mirror.

The Folsom family (originally spelled Foulsham) is one of the oldest families in New Hampshire history. Frances's father, Oscar Folsom, was a descendant of the very first European settlers who arrived in Exeter, New Hampshire, in 1638.

Today, all these years later, it still hangs in our church on our Hook & Hastings pipe organ. Connecting us to the people who sat in these pews before us. It’s more than an antique; it’s a testament to a century of devotion and community.

Come join us for some community fun to kick off the summer!!

-Raffles & local crafters

-Lunch foods & baked good’s..and of course, STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE!

Handcrafted items include: jewelry, sewn items, soaps, chocolate, paper crafts, quilted items, resin figurines, and more!

We are excited to get started on the new landscaping projects in front of our church. We really appreciate all of the goodwill donations! The congregation and community support are a large part of what makes our church so special! Keep an eye out for project updates!

This Sunday is Pentecost!

At Pentecost, the disciples witnessed the birth of the New Testament church with the coming of the Holy Spirit to indwell all believers. Thus, the scene of the disciples in a room at Pentecost links the commencement of the Holy Spirit's work in the church with the conclusion of Christ's earthly ministry.

This event is recorded in the New Testament Book of Acts (Chapter 2). The disciples experienced a "mighty rushing wind" and saw what looked like "tongues of fire" resting above their heads. The traditional color for the day is red, representing those tongues of fire.

Please join us in person or online for our Pentecost service this Sunday, May 24th, as we celebrate Christ’s Spirit, who dwells in all of us!

Join us for our Beautification Breakfast following worship on Sunday, May 24.

There will be fresh and delicious pancakes, eggs, sausage, and beans—all provided by the Lake and McCune families.

Every goodwill donation from this event will go directly toward the new landscaping in front of the church.

Come enjoy a yummy breakfast with friends and help us keep our church beautiful. We hope to see you there!
