St. Mark's Lutheran Church

St. Mark's Lutheran Church A Lutheran community of believers who glorify God by loving, learning, serving and forgiving. Welcome to St. Founded in 1879, St. The Rev. C. See you soon!

Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, a community of believers who glorify God. We commit ourselves to Jesus Christ by loving, learning, serving and forgiving. As Christians, we believe that God is active and working in all of our lives and that Jesus Christ triumphed over sin and death with his own dying on the cross for all of humanity. As Lutherans, we believe that the Word of God should be acces

sible to everyone and faith not deeds is what destines us for heaven -- and that few things are quite as good as gathering around tables in the Social Hall to dig into a good potluck. Mark's has graced the corner of Main Street and Hampstead-Mexico Road for over a century. We are a proud congregation of the Delaware-Maryland Synod, part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Andrew Carr has served as our pastor since 2015. Whether you're a lifelong resident of Hampstead or the surrounding areas or just passing through, we hope you'll make time to stop at 1373 North Main Street on a Sunday morning to hear what God has to offer you through our ministry.

Last Saturday the ladies of St Marks had a wonderful time at the Ladies Tea. They socialized with their friends, listened to beautiful music played live on the harp, and got served by some of the gentlemen of St. Marks. Everyone is already excited to know when the next one will be! ☕️ 💐
