Rev. Don Horn will be bringing a message entitled: "Journey Home". There will be dinner on the grounds immediately following service. We look forward to worshiping with you!

Please make plans to join us this week during our Easter Worship times as we seek to glorify Christ for all that He endured for us during Holy Week.

On Thursday evening at 6:30pm we will have a Maundy Thursday Service where we will observe Communion.

On Easter Morning there will be a Sunrise Service at 7:00am with a fellowship breakfast afterwards. Our morning worship service will be at 11:00am as we celebrate our risen and reigning Lord.

We started a new sermon series yesterday entitled: "Looking and Living on Christ". Each Sunday over the few weeks, we will unpack the vision and mission statements presented to the church back in the February business meeting as we seek to be church on mission for Christ in Hampstead and beyond.

BVBC Vision Statement:
Our vision at Barlow-Vista Baptist Church is to become a church of Christian disciples who look and live on Christ daily as we seek to be kingdom citizens in a fallen world.

Each Sunday of Advent we are seeking to behold the wonder and mystery of Emmanuel, God with us. It is a marvelous reality that God condescended to sinful humanity in the miracle that is Christmas. If you don't have a church home, we would love for you to consider joining us for worship on Sundays at 11am.

Good Afternoon VBS Families!

As many of you know we are expecting Tropical Storm Debby to hit our area by this evening and the next two days. Pastor David and the deacons considered the forecast for the storm we wanted to make sure we kept everyone safe. To that end, we have made the call for tonight (August 7) to be the last night for VBS at BVBC this week.

We will have normal evening of activities for the kids starting at 6pm but we will end the night with a special presentation as well as the reveal of who won the missions offering (and who will get a pie in the face).

Parents, please make plans to join us for the ending celebration which will begin at 8:25pm and end around 8:40pm.

Day 1 and Day 2 of VBS at Barlow-Vista is in the books and we have had a blast each night! Kids are learning how Jesus came to be the light of the world through crafts, songs, Bible stories and so much more!

VBS is for ages 4 years to 8th grade and from 6pm-8:30pm. See everyone soon!
