Discovery Ministries Inc. We want the House to be a respite, a “home away from home” for anyone who might need it.

Our mission is to provide retreats in an atmosphere of love and acceptance where participants can experience God’s healing and can discover the Christ within themselves. Our mission is also to reach out to families with special needs, handicapped children, and chronically ill children and adults and their families by providing social, recreational, and spiritual experiences.

Pope Leo XIV In his first Easter message to the city of Rome and to the world, “Urbi et Orbi,” Pope Leo not only proclaimed the central tenet of the Christian faith that “Christ, my hope, is risen from death,” but also called on those waging war to “lay down [their] weapons” and “choose peace.” To this end, he invited everyone to join him in “a prayer vigil for peace” in St. Peter’s Basilica, next Saturday, April 11.

To Our End on Our Volunteer Day, We will pause at the end of Our efforts to Pray for Peace around the Cross.

Saturday April 11th
From 10 am - 3 pm

Mission: Winter Clean Up of the Gardens Lead by Head Gardeners (and possible appearance by Our Spiritual Director Msgr. Michael T. Mannion)

Tasks Grass Cutting, Leaf Raking, removal of downed trees and shrubs, Mulching
(Cancelled - if Rain in Hammonton, so please check the area forecast)

If You have a Conformations Candidate in need of volunteer hours please bring your paperwork with Your designated Adult.

Water, a meal of Hoagies and snacks provided. If interested please post below.
