Part 2, as promised. No matter how tired, stressed, or confused we are, God will always meet us in our moment. And no matter how far we stray, God will always pursue our hearts. Nothing we do can ever separate us from the One who sacrificed it all to save us.
If the sole purpose of Jesus' sacrifice was to remove the separation between us and God, why would we then ever have to stay away from God? God is not the one telling us to withdraw from Him out of guilt or shame. He already removed it.
If we run from God out of fear of consequences, we are actually running from the only One who can rescue us from those consequences and grow us through them. The only thing we are running from is the redeeming power of Christ.
He is always holding out His hand for us, offering us the purest and most powerful love. He gives us the strength and wisdom we need, and nothing can ever pluck us out of His hand.
He always hears us, and He never leaves us. He knows our needs better than we know our own.
May we continually take refuge in the only One who can provide it. ποΈπ
