The Cape Atlantic Poverty Task Force and Grace Union United Methodist Church would like to take a minute to thank our extended community of neighbors, family and friends. Through our collective efforts, we were able to provide complete Thanksgiving meals to more than 80 families in need. A special thanks is extended to No One Hungry Egg Harbor City for their amazing donation in support of our efforts. Our neighbors are still facing unprecedented times and for the immediate future, we will continue collecting non perishable foods through our donation boxes located at Grace Union United Methodist Church, Winslow United Methodist Church, Weymouth United Methodist Church and Pinelands United Methodist Church. Message David Dorfman, Wendy Dorfman, Luke Hunter or Danny Clark for additional information. Grace Union will be collecting cookie baking supplies also for a special Christmas giveaway.

Hi everyone, our communities are facing unprecedented times. SNAP benefits halted, USDA funding for food bank operations has been reduced to an all time low and groceries are still at an all time high. Although there has recently been a few steps in the right direction, it is going to take time to return things to normal. Until that happens, The Cape Atlantic Poverty Task Force will be accepting non-perishable food donations at both of its pantry locations at 131 E Central Ave, Blue Anchor, NJ and 3551 Nesco Rd, Nesco, NJ. Let's join together in making sure that all families have a Thanksgiving dinner. There will be donation boxes at both locations but for larger donations or donations of frozen or perishable items, please call 6092876525 first to make drop off arrangements.
