What does it mean to lead courageously? It doesn’t always mean standing at the front or having all the answers. Sometimes leadership happens in the middle, behind the scenes, or by simply stepping out in faith when God calls.

This Sunday at Hope, we continue our worship series exploring the new United Methodist vision statement with Week 5: Lead Courageously.

Leaning on the promise of God’s presence and the empowering of the Holy Spirit, disciples find strength to lead courageously. Wherever we find ourselves, we are called to go out to the margins where God’s work is being done.

Join us for worship as we discover how God is calling each of us to step forward in faith and lead with courage.

We hope to see you Sunday at Hope! 💛

How do you feel when you serve others? Is it something you have to do—or something you get to do?

This Sunday, we continue our look at the United Methodist Church’s new mission statement and turn our attention to Serve Joyfully.

Serving can sometimes sound like a duty or obligation. But for a disciple of Jesus, serving is an opportunity to model Christ’s love. When our hearts are in it, even the simplest acts of service can become moments of joy, connection, and faith.

✨ SERVE JOYFULLY ✨

We invite you to join us for worship as we explore what it means to serve—not because we have to, but because we have been called to love like Jesus.

💬 Let’s get the conversation started:
What is one way someone has served you that brought you joy? Or, what is one way you find joy in serving others?

Share your answer in the comments, and then join us Sunday as we Serve Joyfully! ❤️

We’d love to worship with you!

Week 3: Love Boldly

Who knew loving would be so dangerous?

As disciples of Jesus, we are called to love God and our neighbors—even when it means taking risks, stepping outside our comfort zones, and going against the pressures around us.

And over the past week, we have seen what loving boldly looks like right here in our own community. In the aftermath of the storms, neighbors helping neighbors, people checking on one another, sharing resources, offering a helping hand, and simply showing up have reminded us that love is more than something we say—it is something we do.

This week, we’ll explore what it means to LOVE BOLDLY. Jesus reminds us that loving God and loving our neighbor are at the heart of our faith. Sometimes that love calls us to step forward, take a risk, and care for others in ways that make a real difference.

📖 Scripture: Mark 12:28–34 | Leviticus 19:9–18 | John 13:34–35

Join us at Hope as we worship, reflect, and celebrate the love we have seen throughout our community—and consider how God is calling each of us to love boldly in the days ahead.

❤️ Come worship with us. We’d love to see you!

It has been a week since the storms moved through our communities, leaving behind damage, uncertainty, and a lot of work still to be done. As we look back over these days, we are reminded that even in difficult moments, we are never alone.

We have seen neighbors helping neighbors, friends checking in on one another, volunteers offering their time and strength, and our community of faith coming together in ways both big and small. These acts of kindness are a beautiful reminder of what it means to be the church.

“Carry one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
— Galatians 6:2

The work is not finished. Some are still cleaning up, repairing homes, navigating insurance and recovery, and simply trying to find a sense of normal again. So we continue to pray, serve, listen, and look for ways to help.

If you or someone you know needs help following the storms, please reach out to Hope. You do not have to carry the burden alone. And if you are able to help, please continue looking for opportunities to lend a hand.

Thank you, Hope, for being a community that shows up, cares deeply, and lives out the love of Christ. ❤️

We pray everyone is safe after the storms that have moved through our area. ❤️ The church has power, and worship will be held as normal. We look forward to gathering together!

We’re continuing our six-week worship and small group series exploring our new vision for the United Methodist Church—and this week, we’re talking about what it means to have an adverbial faith.

An adverbial faith is passionate and full-bodied. It doesn’t sit on the sidelines. Instead, it engages a hungry world with the love, grace, and hope of Christ.

And here’s the good news: we don’t have to do it on our own! The Holy Spirit gives us the power we need to live out our faith and serve God’s world.

Come worship with us at Hope UMC as we discover what it means to move from simply believing to living our faith wholeheartedly.

📖 Come. Worship. Learn. Serve. Grow.
We’d love to have you with us!
