We are grateful to share that power has been restored at Saint Demetrios. Our prayers remain with all who are still without power, as well as everyone recovering from the storm. May God grant strength, comfort, and safety to all affected.

This Sunday, we invite our parish family to join us for worship and a light luncheon as we celebrate Father David’s 30th year of service at Saint Demetrios. We look forward to gathering together as a community. Please join us! ❤️

**Sunday Liturgy Update**

Due to the continued power outage at our church, we will celebrate Divine Liturgy only on Sunday, August 16, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

There will be no choir, coffee fellowship, printed bulletin, or other scheduled services, even if power is restored before Sunday.

Because some families are still dealing with the storm’s aftermath, and the building currently has no lighting, air conditioning/ventilation, sound system, or phone service, we are taking these precautions for everyone’s safety and well-being.

Our church office will remain closed until such time as power is restored.

Please continue to keep our parish community and all those affected by the storm in your prayers. 🙏

Join us for the Feast of the Holy Transfiguration on Thursday, August 6 at 8:30am. On this holy day, we commemorate Christ’s Transfiguration on Mount Tabor, when His divine glory was revealed to His disciples. We will also celebrate the traditional Blessing of the Grapes, a cherished custom that offers the first fruits of the harvest to God and reminds us of His abundant blessings. Join us for this joyful feast day!
