Today, the USCCB consecrated our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The bishops scheduled the consecration to coincide with both the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart and the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

This historic act entrusts our nation to the loving Heart of Christ and encourages Catholics to pray for the unity of our country.
Holy Ghost will celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus during Daily Mass (7AM) on Friday, June 12th.
There will also be prayer cards available in the Gathering Area this weekend for personal devotion.

Please continue to keep Fr. Carlos in your prayers as his time at the Dominican Provincial Chapter has been extended for several more days.
Fr. Carlos was elected to remain and refine the work done over the last week and a half, until it is completed.The Provincial Chapter is a significant part of the vocation of every Dominican Friar, where they evaluate how to more faithfully live their religious vocation.
Please be assured of his prayers for the parish while he's away.
