A wonderful day celebrating Easter with our friends in Lincoln Park. The rain held off; the kids had fun, and there were snowballs, hamburgers, hot dogs, and lots of candy for everyone. Happy Resurrection Weekend!

Hello everyone, I started a fundraiser on GoFundMe and would appreciate your support. Every single share and donation makes a difference and helps me get closer to my goal.
Thanks!

We observed a lower turnout than expected today. This could be attributed to families maximizing their summer break, the sweltering heat in South Louisiana, or simply a desire to sleep in. Whatever the reason, it did not deter these young men from joining us in our mission to deliver 150 meals to their neighbors and provide prayer support to those seeking it. After distributing the meals, we gathered at the park for a concise Bible lesson. Our topic of discussion centered on covenants – their meaning and implications. I clarified that a covenant represents a solemn, legally binding agreement between two or more parties, entailing significant consequences in the event of its breach. Notably, God has instituted a covenant with Himself on our behalf, ensuring its permanence. Consequently, we reap the benefits of this covenant, which encompass our status as children of God, salvation, ongoing forgiveness of sins, divine blessings, care, provision, protection, and the presence of the Holy Spirit, who guides and empowers us. This covenant encapsulates the promises of peace, joy, love, healing, and eternal life. The question remains: how can we access this covenant? The answer lies in exercising faith – trusting in God and His word, repenting of our transgressions, and receiving the gift of salvation.

What a beautiful day! Today we held our "Easter in the Park" at Jackson Park. We ended up with 3400 eggs ( all but 400 were stuffed and prayed over by Ms Pat Billiot and Mr.Louis). Our grand prizes, two bikes for most eggs found,, were donated by Pastors Evan and Leah Pitts with Church 54 in New Orleans.
The Good News was shared and 7 kids asked Jesus to be their Savior. 8 children were baptized today in the Park. Three more young people told me they prayed the prayer we prayed, but they didn't raise their hands. I told them it still counted and Jesus heard them praying. Bibles were given out to anyone that wanted one, both young and old and age appropriate. Bibles were provided by Center of Hope Thrift Store.
Our hamburgers and hot dogs were prepared by Jim Schroeder and Sony Abels. Many compliments came in about their abilities...being a vegetarian, I will have to take the word of our guest. Water and so much help came from the team with Transport Ministries and James Sparacello (who never ignores my call).
Thanks to my church family at The Wellspring Church for supporting Kids Church in the Park and serving the residents of Lincoln Park. A huge thanks also goes out to my friends and family for their prayers, encouragement, and financial support.
Again, a big thanks for helping us reach kids and for supporting local (stateside) missions!
Blessings and Happy Resurrection weekend!!

Hey everyone,

Another way you can help with our Easter Outreach...if you would like to donate a $10.00 gift card to a local fast food place it would greatly be appreciated. Restaurants around the neighborhood are Chick-fil-A , Burgerking Sw Thomas , McDonald's , Raising Cane's #028 , Popeyes , Andy's Custard. I'm hoping to give away at least 20 gift cards.
