Ven, Espíritu Santo 🕊️ ¡Este domingo celebramos Pentecostés y la venida del Espíritu Santo!

La Iglesia enumera siete Dones del Espíritu Santo (Isaías 11:2–3), recibidos en el Bautismo y fortalecidos en la Confirmación. Estos dones nos ayudan a vivir como discípulos en cada momento:

Sabiduría: ver como Dios ve; saborear lo que verdaderamente importa.
⁣
Entendimiento: comprender el significado de nuestra fe con mayor profundidad.
⁣
Consejo (Recto juicio): elegir el bien y guiar a los demás con prudencia.
⁣
Fortaleza (Valor): mantenerse firme en la fe, incluso cuando resulta difícil.
⁣
Ciencia: reconocer la presencia de Dios en la creación y en nuestras vidas.
⁣
Piedad (Reverencia): amar a Dios como Padre y honrarlo en la oración y la adoración.

Come, Holy Spirit 🕊️ This Sunday, we celebrate Pentecost and the descent of the Holy Spirit!

The Church names seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit (Isaiah 11:2–3) given at Baptism and strengthened in Confirmation. These gifts help us live as disciples in every moment:

Wisdom: seeing as God sees; savoring what truly matters.
Understanding: grasping the meaning of our faith more deeply.
⁣
Counsel (Right Judgment): choosing the good and guiding others with prudence.
⁣
Fortitude (Courage): standing firm in faith, even when it’s difficult.
⁣
Knowledge: recognizing God’s presence in creation and in our lives.
⁣
Piety (Reverence): loving God as Father and honoring Him in prayer and worship.
⁣
Fear of the Lord (Wonder & Awe): a humble reverence that leads us to trust and avoid sin.

Our Lord calls to the children to enter into His love, to enter into the celebration of the Mass. Pope Francis said “The cry of a baby is God’s voice!” Let the littles ones join in the mass and grow their relationships with Christ.
