The church officially, and permanently closed on Nov.1, 2022. I am leaving the site open so people can access the pictures.

It is official that we will be dissolving Covenant Presbyterian Church of Hammond, IN on or about Nov. 1, 2022. Our final service will be Oct. 30, 2022 at 9:15 am. We will celebrate the Lord's Table one final time.
The "Celebration of Covenant" on Saturday, Oct. 29 @ 1:00. There will be a catered luncheon, cost $5 per person to help defray cost.

This will very likely be our final Christmas Eve service here at Covenant. How beautiful our sanctuary was. It is hard to see it so different now, but, no matter how it is or isn't decorated, God is still with us. I remember the days when the sanctuary was filled and we set up chairs in the aisle and narthex; we sang the Hallelujah Chorus and invited all who had sung it to join us; the candles were lit by our young people who were dedicating their lives to serve our Lord. I am so very grateful! If you are able to join us, it will look very different, but we would love to have you with us one more Christmas Eve.

And yet another of our dear saints has been called home. Sandy Hoover, passed on Sept. 11.
"Precious in the sight of our Lord is the death of His saints" (Psalm 116:15).
