No matter what you are going through...He is there. He is with you.

13 Sep 26 Luke 13:34-35 In The Wilderness
Psalm 63:1-11 NKJV - (1) A Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. (2) So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory. (3) Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. (4) Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. (5) My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips. (6) When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches. (7) Because You have been my help, Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. (8) My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me. (9) But those who seek my life, to destroy it, Shall go into the lower parts of the earth. (10) They shall fall by the sword; They shall be a portion for jackals. (11) But the king shall rejoice in God; Everyone who swears by Him shall glory; But the mouth of those who speak lies shall be stopped.
I hope this finds you in the same place as David as you go through your wilderness. God is God and there is no other. Seek Him Early in the day and in the moment of your trial. Make God your immediate first response and your “Go To”.
To whom else can you turn? To what else will you turn. He is your God. He is your truest Friend. He is your Life and the Word He plants in you is filled with Life. John 6:66-69
John 6:66-69 NASB95 - (66) As a result of this many of His disciples withdrew and were not walking with Him anymore. (67) So Jesus said to the twelve, "You do not want to go away also, do you?" (68) Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life. (69) "We have believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God."
Does your Soul thirst for Him? It is a very good place to be. Nothing seems to satisfy. Nothing seems to quench the thirst deep inside you. To often people attempt to cure it by finding something in the world to ease the desire. The real thirst is a Spiritual Thirst which only be satisfied by God, His Son and His Spirit. John 4:14-24
John 4:14-24 NASB95 - (14) but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life." (15) The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water, so I will not be thirsty nor come all the way here to draw." (16) He said to her, "Go, call your husband and come here." (17) The woman answered and said, "I have no husband." Jesus said to her, "You have correctly said, 'I have no husband'; (18) for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; this you have said truly." (19) The woman said to Him, "Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. (20) "Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you people say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship." (21) Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. (22) "You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. (23) "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. (24) "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
May your Soul thirst for Him, He will surely satisfy your soul and give you the Water of His Holy Spirit and The Truth you desperately need inside. We long for Him and desire to be with Him forever... in His time and in His impending return. Even your Flesh craves Him. That’s right. There is only one thing your flesh craves that is truly of God. However, it seems to try and fill the unending void through the World and the pleasures leading away from Him rather than to Him. What is it you ask? The Answer is Eternity, Immortality and the instantaneous change only He can give. 2 Corinthians 5:1-9, Philippians 1:21-28, 1 Corinthians 15:50-57
2 Corinthians 5:1-9 NASB95 - (1) For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. (2) For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven, (3) inasmuch as we, having put it on, will not be found naked. (4) For indeed while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed but to be clothed, so that what is mortal will be swallowed up by life. (5) Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge. (6) Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord-- (7) for we walk by faith, not by sight-- (8) we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. (9) Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.
Philippians 1:21-28 NASB95 - (21) For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. (22) But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose. (23) But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better; (24) yet to remain on in the flesh is more necessary for your sake. (25) Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith, (26) so that your proud confidence in me may abound in Christ Jesus through my coming to you again. (27) Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; (28) in no way alarmed by your opponents--which is a sign of destruction for them, but of salvation for you, and that too, from God.
1 Corinthians 15:50-57 NASB95 - (50) Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. (51) Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, (52) in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. (53) For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. (54) But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, "DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory. (55) "O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?" (56) The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; (57) but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
As you sojourn through the life He has granted you, continue to search for Him with all you are. Remember you have free access to Him anytime and anywhere. In your Wilderness there is Water to drink no one can see. The Holy Spirit of God will give it to you. How does one enter The Sanctuary of God to find His Power and Glory? There is Prayer. Hebrews 4:13-16
Hebrews 4:13-16 NASB95 - (13) And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. (14) Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. (15) For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. (16) Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
To see His Power and Glory and to more so enter into them and His Prescence. His lovingkindness is His Grace, and it is so much better than the life you are experiencing in the flesh. David's cry is for Eternity in Him and near Him. You have acquired His Promise to you as a product of being Born Again. What therefore is your response? May it be just like David. Bless Him. Lift up your hands to His name. Worship Him. He will surely satisfy your soul with the choicest morsels of His own delicacies and cause your lips to be full of His praise. Think of it! You get to participate in His Power and Glory.
Remember Him, never forget Him, Meditate on Him in the watches of the night. He is your help and just as He longs to gather you under His wings as a Mother Hen, you have found your refuge in Him...ever so close to Him. Rejoice! He loves you! So stay close to Him, follow in the paths He has carved out before you and the ways He has established as His own and for His own. His right hand will uphold you and get you through whatever obstacles are in your path as long as you stay the course and stay close to Him.
In The Wilderness hold true to Him; your enemies stand no chance. Anything trying to steal, kill or destroy your life has no Hope because your security is Him. You are secure and no one, nor anything can separate you from The Love of God. Trust in Him and His Word...Rejoice in God O' Saint. If He is for you...who or what can stand against you? The answer is nothing! No matter what Wilderness you are in, He is in it with you! Romans 8:26-39
Romans 8:26-39 NASB95 - (26) In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; (27) and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. (28) And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (29) For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; (30) and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. (31) What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? (32) He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? (33) Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies; (34) who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. (35) Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (36) Just as it is written, "FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED." (37) But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. (38) For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, (39) nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
