Spring Clean-up this Saturday! Bring your tools and supplies to help with annual cleaning and maintenance jobs. Thank you for helping keep our church looking nice!
2026 CHECKLIST FOR CHURCH CLEAN-UP:
1. Church building:
- Wall at the bottom of the North stairs: water leak problem – slope the dirt away from the foundation
- Hallway damage to wall between Sunday School Superintendent and Secretary’s offices
- Men’s bathroom toilet in basement needs new flapper valve
- Wax on chairs and floor throughout Sanctuary auditorium needs removing
- Wax and stains on chairs in basement storage room
- Wash windows & clean in-between screen and windows
- Replace Sanctuary blinds
- Continue to sort items in storage and throw away unused items
2. Way Station:
- Replace steps and handrail
- Siding board on top of Way Station facade roof needs replacing - new piece is in the basement
- Clean inside oven and under oven
- Spot clean carpet stains
- Wash windows & clean in-between screen and windows
3. Guest House:
- Weeds and bush trimming
- Clean out remaining items
4. Outside work:
- Concrete handicap ramp on sidewalk in front of church needs cement repair
- Pickup branches and leaves around all properties
- Weeds in parking lot
- Clean out gutters
- Add root killer to septic systems
- Add last rubber strip to stairs on North Entrance – glue and screws
5. Parsonage:
- Crack in basement wall on NW corner of living room
- Bedroom window (upstairs West) needs to be put in tracks if possible
6. North House:
- Go through and throw away unused items
