Father's Day Message – Proverbs 22:6

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." — Proverbs 22:6

We were truly blessed on Father's Day as Mr. Charles Warren served as our guest speaker. Drawing from Proverbs 22:6, Mr. Warren delivered a heartfelt message on the role, responsibility, and lasting influence of fathers.

He challenged fathers and father figures to embrace the sacred calling of fatherhood by intentionally training, guiding, and nurturing the next generation. Acknowledging that being a father is not always easy, Mr. Warren emphasized that the impact of a godly father extends far beyond the present moment.

Through prayer, sacrifice, wisdom, and unconditional love, fathers have the power to shape lives and leave a legacy that influences generations to come. His message served as both an encouragement and a reminder that faithful fatherhood is one of God's greatest tools for building strong families and communities.

We thank Mr. Warren for sharing this timely and inspiring word and for reminding us of the importance of investing in our children with purpose, patience, and faith.May God continue to bless all fathers and father figures as they lead, love, and leave a legacy of faith for future generations.

The A.M.E. Zion International Mass Choir

Dear Zion Music Family,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We are excited to extend a heartfelt invitation to all A.M.E. Zion singers to join the A.M.E. Zion International Mass Choir for the upcoming Connectional Council. The meeting will be held in Greenville, South Carolina, in July 2026.

We welcome as many singers as are available and willing to participate. Our goal is to have at least 100 choir members, making history in The A.M.E. Zion Church for Connectional

Council Meetings.
Please attend any virtual and/or in-person rehearsal as you are available. Additionally, we are excited to announce that Little Rock A.M.E. Zion Church will be providing daily transportation to and from Greenville, SC. Please sign-up for the choir and for transportation by texting Greenville to 833-261-6405.

Let us work together to make this Connectional Council the most inspiring and memorable one yet. Your support is greatly needed.

To God be the glory for all He has done. I am sincerely thankful to Bishop Darryl B. Starnes Sr. for appointing me to serve as Pastor of Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. As I begin my fourth year of service, my heart is filled with gratitude for the opportunity to shepherd this wonderful congregation. Together, we have witnessed God's faithfulness, experienced growth in ministry, and continued to strengthen our commitment to Christ and community. I look forward with great expectation to all that God has in store for us in the years ahead.

I praise and THANK God for an awesome worship service on yesterday (Pentecost).

Wayman Chapel words cannot truly express the way I feel. Thanks for celebrating the ministry God placed in my spirit and has allowed me to share and serve with you. I appreciate the love, the tributes, the encouraging words, the time, talents, and treasure that you shared with me and my family.

Mrs. Lynne Everett thanks for sharing ”Lessons Learned” with us, your words were powerful, inspiring and touched our hearts.

Then we traveled to Fuller’s BBQ- Pembroke for a Fellowship Meal what a wonderful day.
