On this blessed 1st Sunday, let every heart be filled with gratitude and every voice lifted in praise. No matter what this week has brought, God has been faithful, merciful, and good. He has kept us, carried us, and covered us with His grace.

Today we pause to honor Him, thank Him, and worship Him, not just for what He has done, but for who He is. He alone is worthy of all the glory, all the honor, and all the praise.

Thankful. Grateful.

On this First Sunday of June, we give thanks to God for His grace, mercy, and faithfulness. We honor the prayers, sacrifices, and legacy of those who came before us and helped pave the way for us to stand where we are today.

What a powerful Word on this 5th Sunday from Bishop J.f. Quick

Subject: God’s Exit Plan
Scripture: Acts 16:23-29

Today’s message reminded us that having a gift is not enough. Just because you can sing, dance, preach, or perform does not mean you have a relationship with God. This thing has to be in you. When life gets dark, when the doors seem closed, and when the earthquake shakes everything around you, what is inside of you will be revealed.

Bishop Quick challenged us to pray, trust God, and stop trying to do everything our own way. Sometimes we have to let go and allow God to do what only He can do. We may not always know how He is working, but we must have faith that He is working it out.

Just as Paul and Silas prayed and praised God in prison, we too must learn to endure our earthquakes. The shaking may not be punishment, it may be God’s exit plan. The very thing that looks like it’s breaking you could be the thing God is using to free you.

Today’s reminder: Stop doing it your way. Let God do it for you. Endure the earthquake. Trust the process. Trust God.
