William Elmon McCarley, 76, of Hamilton passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026 at North Ms. Medical Center in Hamilton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, 11:00 until service time beginning at 12:00 at Antioch Church located at 962 County Road 90 Hamilton, AL. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Survivors include Siblings: James (Wanda) McCarley, Dwight (Gwen) McCarley, Rex (Susan) McCarley, Danny (Donna) McCarley, and Geraldine Green. A host of Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by, Parents: Daniel Floyd and Dora Tice McCarley, Siblings: Edward McCarley, Mary Lou Lynch, Maxine Lockhart, Nellie Mae Ingle, Alvis McCarley, Elton McCarley, Polly Mae Easter and Faye Pruitt.

Last night we came together to package up Thanksgiving meals for some members of our community! We packed and prayed over these boxes in hopes that it would reach just the right household and they would have a blessed Thanksgiving.

With some wonderful help from our friends at Marion County DHR, City of Hamilton Police Department, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office we were able to get these out across the City and County. We are so thankful for these men and women who made this possible!

✝️Let’s Talk About Tuesdays✝️

In the Hebrew tradition, each day of the week has meaning rooted in the Creation story. Tuesday—Yom Shlishi (the third day)—is uniquely blessed twice in Genesis 1. God says, “It was good” two times on this day, once after separating land and sea, and again after creating vegetation.

This is a reminder that even ordinary days, such as Tuesday, can carry hidden blessings when seen through the lens of creation and purpose!
