Lord, You reign in my life!

“Asa did what was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God. Therefore he said to Judah, “Let us build these cities and make walls around them, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us, because we have sought the Lord our God; we have sought Him, and He has given us rest on every side.” So they built and prospered” 2 Chronicles 14:1 & 7, NKJV.

Early in his kingship, King Asa understood that although he was king on the earth, God was King over all. He reigned, yet the Lord reigns over him. He depended on the Lord and followed Him. Because he allowed God to reign, King Asa had no wars for 36 years and had rest on every side. However, he turned away from God later in his life, and from that point forward, he had wars as king.

Never forget that although you are a strong man, the Lord reigns. The devil will come against you and even tempt you to serve another, but the Lord reigns. Keep Him exalted as God and nothing, or no one else. Humbly do what is good in His eyes, trusting Him. Seek out the Lord and what He wants, not what you want, for your life.

When the Lord reigns, you will reign. His peace and good success will reign in your life. You will always rise above every circumstance. He will give you rest on every side!

Prayer: Father, I declare You reign! Nothing will be exalted in my life above You, not even myself. Keep this understanding before me as long as I live, that You are King. Help me to always do what is good and right in Your eyes. Since Jesus reigns, I reign also. I thank You for rest on every side. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen!

Triumph is in the air.

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place” 2 Corinthians 2:14, NKJV.

“Then Elijah said to Ahab, ‘Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain’” 1 Kings 18:41, NKJV.

Triumph is in the air. Victory is in the atmosphere. When you discern it in the air, it’s about to show up. As you look at the landscape of your life, may you see victory. God is bringing it to you. I declare you will see victory this week. You will embrace it this week. It won’t be seen but not experienced. He always causes you to triumph, and that’s what you set your faith on whatever you’re believing God for today. Those around you will come to know God by the victory they see you believe and receive.

Prayer: Father, I praise you! You always cause me to triumph, and I discern it in the atmosphere. There’s triumph in the air. I’m surrounded by it. I’m predestined to walk in victory. Help me give you a seed of faith! This will be a week of great victory for me. Cause those around me to know you are real by how they see you bless me and what they see you do for the man that trusts you. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Christ has redeemed you. You are blessed.

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us…that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus…and if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” Galatians 3:13-14 & 29, NKJV.

You know the blessing of the Lord is on your life. That’s why you can’t fail, that’s why it will work out; that’s why, even through the trials, you seem to land on your feet every time and thrive. That’s why when you thought you lost your course, you kept seeing His goodness. God has blessed you, and you won’t ever see anything less than what the blessing provides. Moses blessed the children of Israel (Deuteronomy 33:1). He blessed each of them before he died, and that blessing carried them throughout their lives. The blessing is what’s carrying you and always brings favor to you.

If you are Christ’s, you are Abraham’s seed, and the same blessing of Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3) is now on your life. Having God bless you alone and giving you His Spirit is enough to keep your joy full. May it keep a smile on your face. Every spiritual blessing has been given to you. When you consider everything before you, remain in faith about every outcome, knowing that the Lord of all, your never-changing Father, has blessed you, and He will make you a great blessing.

Prayer: Thank You, Father! Thank You, Jesus! You became a curse for me so I could receive the blessing. It now rests abundantly on my life. Because of the blessing, I can’t fail. It must work out. I’m going to land on my feet. I walk into great places already prepared for me. Hallelujah! Help me to trust You and know the blessing is on me. I am ordained to be a great blessing in the earth. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

A strong man will always be a blessed man.

“Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments…Wealth and riches will be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous” Psalms‬ ‭112‬:‭1‬ & 3-4, NKJV.

As men, we are blessed by the things we don’t think about. A man is blessed simply because he delights in God’s way and what He says. A man is blessed by maintaining his character, even in hard times. A man is admired when he loves his wife and makes sacrifices for her. A man is blessed when he’s submitted to waiting on God to open the door and not rushing to create his own. He honors God, and God touches someone’s heart to honor the faithfulness in him that He sees. He’s blessed when he humbles himself, and God exalts him. He’s blessed when he’s compassionate and gives.

In these times, the devil wants you to shrink back and buckle under pressure. Yet, be encouraged to stay strong. No matter what it looks like, a strong man will always be a blessed man. You will bear great fruit.

Prayer: Father, I praise you. Let me never forget what causes me to be blessed, what causes me to be happy and admirable. It’s staying strong in Christ. Since I do, I will always end up increasing, favored, and provided for. Make me an example and bear great fruit because I decide to be strong in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

All Goliaths talk, but all Goliaths fall!

“So the Philistine said to David, Am I a dog, that you come to me with sticks? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. Then David said to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts” I Samuel 17:43 & 45, NKJV.

Goliath came to Israel and talked to them like they were scum. He stood 9 feet tall before David and referred to him as a stick. He told them he would kill him and give his flesh to the birds. Goliath cursed David by his gods, talking to David and Israel as if they were nothing.

We all have Goliaths. Is yours standing before you and talking to you the same way? It is standing before you, saying nothing will change in your life. You won’t make it this time. God isn’t able to deliver you, and the devil is mocking your God.

Talk is cheap, so give it no place in your life. It is about what the end will be, and the devil is no match for your God. Goliath talked much but ended up doing little. David slew him with a slingshot and a stone, showing how mighty our God is. The Great I AM doesn’t need much, just a seed of faith you put in Him. Just as the small stone in David’s hands, you will overcome your Goliath with that small seed of faith in yours. You are called to be great, and this is what great people do.

Now take your faith and slay your giant!

Prayer: Father, I praise You this morning. You are my mighty God, and I will have what You have promised me. Talk is cheap, and my Goliath will fall! I put my seed of faith in You. Lead me, Holy Spirit. Jesus is greater in me than he that is in the world, and with You, I will be who You called me to be and accomplish everything You have told me to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Make it count.

“So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom” Psalms‬ ‭90:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

If you were given a year to spend one million dollars, how would you use it? But if you were only given one day to spend that same million dollars, you would use it in an entirely different way. The basis for your decisions would be that you only have one day, and you want to make the most of it.

This is the reality God wants to give us regarding life. You only have one life, and it is very precious. It is but a v***r, a few seconds. It is here one day and gone the next. Before you realize it, this life is going to be over, and you will ask yourself, what did you do regarding your walk with Jesus and with all of the things God put in your heart, with all He had for you in this life

God has given you His Son and has put so much inside of you. So many faith adventures. So many thoughts and plans He has for you. Do what He put in your heart. Love while you can, and live life now. Number your days, my brother, and make it count.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your word. As I step back and look at my life, You have given me much, Lord, and I give You praise for it all. Teach me to number my days and to apply my heart to wisdom. I will not waste my time, but cherish it. With all You have put in me, help me to make it count and run for You. Jesus. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen!
