This October at Oasis Chapel, Akosua Addo will be leading us through our new sermon series: SURRENDER.

God is calling us to release, trust, yield, and place every area of our lives fully in His hands.

Whether Oasis Chapel is your home church or you’ve never worshipped with us before, there’s a seat for you!!!
Come join us this October as we learn what it means to live a life fully surrendered to God.

Come as you are. Bring someone with you. Let’s SURRENDER together. 🙌🏾

Where is that desire coming from?
Is it from God—or is it coming from somewhere else?

“The direction your desire leads you reveals the source it came from”

Akosua Addo reminds us that every desire leaves the signature of its source within us.

So the question is: Whose signature are you bearing?

💬💬Take a moment to examine your desires. Where are they leading you and who do they look like? 💬💬

ENDURANCE | Hebrews 12:1–2 ✝️
Lay aside every weight. Cast off every sin. Put away anything that slows you down—and run the race with endurance.

But how do we endure?
Keep your eyes on Jesus. Focus on Jesus, he is the Author of your race—the One who has set the course before you.
He is the Finisher—the source of strength and power you need to complete what He has called you to do.

Don’t give your attention to every distraction. Don’t let discouragement steal your focus.
Jesus endured the cross because He fixed His eyes on the joy set before Him.

“May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience…” — Colossians 1:11 ESV

Reflection question:
“What is one thing you need to take your eyes off of this week so you can fix them back on Jesus?”
