We are a church committed to Jesus Christ, his Gospel, and making him known. These values are those things that we hold dearly. Broadly they are what Scripture teaches, but here we have them delineated a bit more to give you an idea of what type of community we are.
• Gospel - We believe that the grace of Jesus Christ is vital throughout the Christian life. We do not just share the Gospel to in
troduce people to Christ, but we preach it daily in order to live lives that glorify God.
• Biblical Growth & Change - We value personal transformation, but we believe that lasting change only comes Biblically. It is generated from a growing depth of understanding who one is in Christ and a deepening love for and knowledge of Christ.
• Christ-Centered Worship - We believe worship is what we were designed to do. Paul Tripp wrote: "Corporate worship is designed to instill vertical hope where horizontal hope has been dashed."
• Community Living - Christianity is a way of life. We are not isolated individuals seeking to achieve something, but we are a group of people called by the Lord to live in community for the benefit of each other and to the glory of His Name.
• Grace-Centered Outreach - Though our outreach may take many forms (e.g., ministries of mercy), the grace of God will be the motivation, and we will seek to share that grace and hope with all we meet.
• Kingdom Mindset - We are not alone; we are denominational and are connected to others in our denomination. We are also ecumenical; we will gladly labor in the Gospel for the glory of God with all believers in Christ. We will live by the saying "in essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, in all things charity." We will give ourselves away for the sake of making God's invisible Kingdom visible. One implication of this is that we will be actively involved in church planting.
