Hi greetings everyone Pastor Monty, Pastor Nancy, Hailey Peabody, Mary Anne Winningham and rest of the Team in USA. This is brother Johnny, the children's Sunday school teacher, he is advocating on the behalf of the children for them to have a building outside near the entrance of the church and the want to start it early next month, so they pleading for the Barnabas Christian ministries USA for their support financial, the project will start next month and they building project estimate cost 400 USD. A set of keys? What's so great about that? Well it represents a big milestone of the Barnabas Church of Sierra Leone. It has been over 4 years since God put it in Andy Winningham's heart to start a church in Sierra Leone. God led him through a multitude of people to a young man named Suciaman Barrie. With Andy's help they rented a small office space in Bo City and started a church. Andy helped them buy some sound equipment, keyboard, generator, chairs and other things to help the church get started. He then helped them purchase some land, sent them some rough church plans and watched them shovel by shovel dig a well to benefit the community. Not long after the well being dug Andy graduated on to his reward in heaven. Andy had a great vision for the building of the church there and it being a blessing to the community. He eventually wanted them to build a school for the children of the area to receive a good christian education.
Now four years later, and with help from Christ for the Nations to put the roof on; they finally have the building closed in with keys to lock up their few belongings.
Who would have thought that God would use someone like Andy to build 2 debt free church buildings in His lifetime to be a part of the building of the Kingdom of God.
Of course keys remind me of the scripture in Matt 16:19
19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." NKJV
Although it has been a long hard journey building this structure as unto the Lord, even having to see the results of a big storm blowing 2 of the walls down just as they were ready for putting the roof on, they have come to this milestone of now having a set of keys. Although these physical keys mean a lot; the spiritual keys to the kingdom are so much more important. My prayer is that this church in Sierra Leone truly learns how to loose heaven on earth here, and be a great blessing to their nation.
Thanks so much to all of you that have been a part of this great project and pray for wisdom for the church leaders there, as they continue the work.

I was just thinking that I hadn't heard from Jenny and was wondering when her next concert would be, and now here we have it. Looks like a good way to kick off the Christmas season. And of course we know That Jesus IS the reason for the season. I trust many of you will be able to go. It is always a blessing, as Jenny spends a lot of time preparing for these wonderful times of worship. Lets spread the word. I know anyone that can come will be blessed. Praise be to the King! We used to just put thank-you cards and notes to Barnabas on the back table or bulletin board for people to read, but now I will just post it on this page. This card was in response to a donation sent to the Spokane Dream Center. Apparently it was mis-delivered to the Sears service center. They sent the check back to me saying they couldn't find any account with Barnabas or Spokane Dream Center so they sent it back to us in one of their own envelopes. When I saw the return address I almost threw it in the garbage, but since it had a first class stamp on it I decided to open it up after all. I know, I know; I can hear it already "That's the post office for you!" What can I say; we all make mistakes. PTL the check did finally make it to them. Since Barnabas is not meeting as a church anymore we won't be sending out donations like we have in the past, but want to encourage anyone to send offerings to some of these good soils. Dave and Alice Derrick were good friends of Pastor Alice, Sister Nancy, the Keens the Winninghams and many others from back in the Shiloh days. They have a great work of restoring people through their rehab center. Restoring peoples lives using the Word of God and Godly principles is a much needed ministry.

I couldn't help but pull over and take this picture on the way to work a few weeks ago. It looked a little bit like what it must have been when God descended on the mountain in the old testament although much more powerful in that time. We continue to pray for this valley that the Glory of God will be poured out on all flesh. As we continue to co-labor with Christ we are excited to see what God is doing.
Tomorrow is a bittersweet day for us as we will be holding our last service as Barnabas Church Ministries. As we remember all that God has done over the years through our little church I rejoice. It was a good last few years as Pastor Alice finished her race here on this earth and were even able to see Her and Pastor Marianne together again under the roof of Barnabas. It has been great to sit under Pastor Nancy's teaching all these years and all the others who have ministered over the years.
We are rejoicing that Mike and Denise Echterling and the Place Church will make great use of the "Barnabas Campus" as a tool for reaching many for the kingdom as they already have. They have fond memories of how Pastor Alice and Marianne "Set them up" back in the days of Shiloh. Even though many of these things are in the past now, we keep pressing on and building on Christ the foundation. We are just entering into the next phase and chapter of the greater plan of God. Thanks so much to everyone that has been a part of Barnabas and may God richly bless you in the future.

We are very happy for the Barnabas Church of Sierra Leone. It has been a long haul for them since brother Andy Winningham started helping these wonderful people to build a church. They now have a "Zinc" roof to keep the rain out and although they still have a long way to go, progress is being made. Praise God. If you would like to help support this project feel free to contact me and we will tell you the details. Andy's long range goal was to provide a school for the children in the neighborhood. Pastor Jack says they would easily have 150 to 250 children K through 6th grade. What an opportunity to make a difference in this small corner of the world.
