We are called to lead people to Christ and to fulfill the Great Commission. In 1791, Fort Hamilton was built.

Once the tumult of early settlement life calmed a bit, the settlers began to organize churches. The first church in Hamilton was the predecessor of the former Front Street Church, organized in 1810. In 1816, the predecessor of the former First United Church was organized as an Associated Reformed Church. For a time, the sister churches met in the same building. In 1958 their parent denominations u

nited and became the United Presbyterian Church in the USA. In 1983 the UPUSA Church reunited with the Presbyterian Church in the United States. This union brought an end to the schism that occurred over the issue of slavery during the Civil War times. At about the same time, the downtown Hamilton Presbyterian churches started steps toward the uniting of the two congregations. On January 1, 1984 the new congregation was officially formed. The Presbyterian Church of Hamilton is both a pioneer church of the city and one of its youngest congregations!

Get ready for an unforgettable week of adventure, worship, games, music, crafts, snacks, and exploring the Nature of God! 🦜🐒🐸🌴

Kids will journey through the rainforest as they learn about God’s love in a fun, safe, and exciting environment filled with new friends and amazing activities each day!

Mark your calendars for a fun community event coming this summer. The Presbyterian Church of Hamilton will host its annual Car Show on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church, located at 23 South Front Street in downtown Hamilton, directly across from the courthouse.

Car registration will take place from 10:00 a.m. to noon, with a $15 entry fee that includes lunch. The show will feature a wide variety of vehicles along with music by DJ John, door prizes, and plenty of time to enjoy the cars and fellowship.

Trophies will be awarded for the Top 35 vehicles (up to 1990), the Top 10 vehicles (1991 or newer), Best of Show, three specialty trophies, and the Show and Shine Award.

Whether you are bringing a car or simply coming to enjoy the show, this is a great opportunity for the community to gather and celebrate some incredible vehicles. For more information, call John Walton at 513-907-3077.

Congregational Celebration & Love Feast Potluck | May 31

Mark your calendar for a special Congregational Celebration on Sunday, May 31, at 10:00 a.m. as our entire Presby family gathers for one unified worship service at the Court Street Worship Center.

As part of the worship service itself, we will gather around tables together and share in a Love Feast Potluck meal. Members of the congregation are encouraged to bring a breakfast dish or dessert to share as we worship, fellowship, and gather together around the table.

We look forward to a joyful morning of worship, fellowship, food, and unity as we gather together as the Heart of Christ, in the heart of the city.
