Immanuel Lutheran School

Each year, educators from Hamilton City schools and parochial schools in Hamilton are nominated for the Harry T. Wilks Educator of Excellence Award through the Hamilton Community Foundation (OH). This year, Immanuel's Educator of Excellence is Miss Sydney Glynn, our First Grade teacher 🍎
Miss Glynn pours her whole heart into teaching, designing meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that bring classroom standards to life.
Whether students are selling candy grams to apply money skills, conducting animal research projects, participating in classroom publications, attending Literacy Night with their families, or preparing for a spelling bee, Sydney consistently creates engaging opportunities that inspire curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.
Miss Glynn has emerged as an outstanding leader within our school in other areas as well, including leading with the PTO, presenting professional development, and more.
She leads with confidence, organization, and a collaborative spirit, always thinking ahead and looking for ways to strengthen our community.
Tomorrow evening, she will be recognized at the Educator of Excellence Banquet.

A huge thank you to the Forward BMX Show for traveling to Immanuel on Friday! This group travels around to schools inspiring students to work hard toward their dreams, stay motivated in school, and inspire their peers. This special assembly would not have been possible without your efforts during our Dance-a-Thon fundraiser organized by our PTO last school year. We look forward to more great assemblies like this one!

Congratulations, Chapel Award recipients!
"Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful." - Colossians 3:12-15
