I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for everyone who came out and volunteered/served in some capacity. Thank you to those who donated food, drinks, ice etc. There’s no way we could do this without you!!!!! A couple of folks who really stuck out in my mind today that I do ask you to pray for is a young gentleman named Austin, the men were gathered around him praying with him, he was crying as they prayed and ministered to him, he’s going into rehab, he wanted a Bible to take with him, he saw hope in us and more importantly he saw hope in Jesus Christ! Also, please pray for a mom named Kris, her and her son Austin moved here for a fresh start, we invited her to church, she wanted a Bible and a gospel track, we prayed with her & just loved on her, her son thanked us himself for feeding them today. My heart turned to soup!! It was precious! This ministry is messy as we did see today, getting our hands dirty, rolling up our sleeves is hard work and each and every time each of you showed the love of Jesus and I can’t thank you enough. We may never know on this side of Heaven what seeds were planted, but we can know we showed the love of Jesus and did what we were suppose to do, yes we fed them physically, but we also fed them spiritually. Thank you for being the church and thank you for being the hands of feet of Jesus!!!!

Just a reminder that our outreach is this coming Sunday, please have all food and drinks there by Sunday morning so that we’ll be ready to go. I could use several volunteers fo buy a couple of lbs of beef and taco seasoning and prepare and bring it to church Sunday, please bring it in foil containers so we don’t have to clean up dishes afterwards, if you can do this, please lmk as soon as possible, if not I’ll buy the meat and have it ready for Sunday, I need about more 25 lbs and I have 2 people signed up for 10 lbs and that will not be nearly enough. Any type of corn chips will do, Doritos or Fritos, we’re looking for the small bags, the boxes of Frito’s can be found at GFS on RT 4. We’ll need bottled water, pop, they love Mt. Dew, Sunkist & Root Beer are a few of their favorites. Please make sure you sign up for food items, drinks & volunteering so I know what’s needed and who’s planning to serve. Also, any type of side dishes, desserts, cookies, watermelon (pre-cut) would be appreciated too. If you have any questions please let me or Irma know! Thank you in advance for giving and serving! 😊

Note: We’ll be leaving the church at 2:30, we’ll go to Hamilton East side (parking lot right beside Serve City), then we’ll pack up and go to the Cove Motel, we’ll need volunteers for both locations. Thanks!!

Hey everyone,
I will have 3 sign up sheets in the foyer, one is for food and drinks, if you sign up for taco meat that will need to be cooked ahead of time and brought to the church the day of the event. The other 2 sign up sheets will be volunteers, one is for East Hamilton and the other is for the Cove Motel, you can sign up for both or one or the other. If the sign up sheets are filled and you want to come, please do so, I’m just ensuring that we have enough people at both sites to serve, we can always find something for you to do, if you you have any questions lmk! Thanks!!

Hey everyone,
We’re planning next months outreach. Ronnie had a great idea to make walking tacos for next months outreach event, Micky loved that idea too! I will get food and volunteer sign up sheets set up at church. We’ll do a buffet line like we did the last time. So I’ll have sign up sheets if you would like to bring food in, if you would like to volunteer on site, I would like to set up a “prayer booth” so people can come for prayer, you can also hand out tracts & Bibles too. Anything you can do to help will be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance!!

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to say once again thank you for coming out and helping Sunday and for all the hard work, it was hot, but I know we blessed a lot of people and I hope that we received the best gift of all and that’s the gift of giving to someone in need. Micky & Joey were so very impressed with the amount of folks from our church who showed up and stepped up!! She told me that she actually got to rest some Sunday. Way to go KBC!!!!! Irma, thanks for helping to organize everything, I couldn’t have done it without you, Ronnie & Kim thanks for bringing the grill out & going back to the church and washing up the utensils, you both rock and for everyone who came out and rolled up your sleeves and worked hard!! Thank you so very much!!!!!! ❤️

Also, we’ll be partnering with Open Hands Food Pantry to collect some travel size items, I will have totes with lids at the church that will be labeled, so if you have some unused travel sized shampoo and/or conditioner and lotions, please feel free to bring those in (travel size only). They also need men’s and women’s deodorant and razors too. I’m working with Pat Smith who heads up tbis ministry & she’ll give us specific items to collect each month. I’ll be creating another outreach event when I touch base with Micky. They’ll be a lot of opportunities to jump in and help. I’m excited to be the hands and feet of Jesus here in Hamilton ❤️❤️

Just a reminder that tomorrow is our outreach. Micky said we’ll need to be on location at East Ave at 3:00 pm. We’ll meet at the church and we’ll leave promptly at 2:30 pm, if you plan on riding the bus or following us, please be there on time, we will head out at 2:30 pm so we can set up and be ready to serve. Please make sure you bring your food items in tomorrow morning, if you haven’t already done so. Also, we’ll need volunteers to serve at both locations, East Ave & Cove Motel, so please pray and see if this is something you would want to help with. This is such an amazing opportunity to serve our community, to not only feed them physically but to feed them spiritually too. Mickey and her team will be there to assist us and guide us. It will be a great day & im sure our hearts will be full and we’ll be the hands and feet of Jesus. If you have any questions, please touch base with myself or Irma. God bless each of you for giving of your time.

Several packages of cookies and or snack cakes, any varieties or kind. Please be sure to sign up & bring your items in. Thank you!!

Also, Irma is planning on making all the Mac n cheese, Ronnie is bringing a grill to cook the hotdogs, I need volunteers to heat up the beans, I can do the corn. I would like all the items at the church by or before July 6th. We also need volunteers to serve at both locations Hamilton East & Cove Motel, so please let me know if you plan on attending. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or Rosie. Thank you for serving our community and bringing the love of Jesus to those in need. I promise if you invest a little time into another soul, you’ll be sure to recieve the blessing of helping others and being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Matthew 25:35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
